I know it is a bit early to be showing Christmas Card ideas, but if you have a large list of family and friends, you'll want ideas to get you started on your handmade cards early. I'm showing an idea for using the Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set today to create a more traditional card vs. the fun Frosted Gingerbread card I've shown previously. I then die cut a the ornament using the Gingerbread Dies. I cut the solid base out of Brushed Metallic Cardstock, and then I cut the detailed part of the ornament out of Night of Navy. I used another die from the Gingerbread Dies to die cut the Brushed Ornament image running across the width of the card. I added a sentiment from the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set. I stamped it in Versamark on the Night of Navy layer, covered it using White Emboss Powder from the Basics Stampin' Emboss Powders set, and set the powder with my heat tool. I finished the card by adding a bow from the Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon.
I made a large collection of these cards for a swap with other Demonstrators, and enjoyed creating a more traditional look with this set.
