I enjoy playing with the Nature's Prints Stamp Set, with the coordinating Sun Prints Designer Series Paper, but it works well with other papers as well.  Today, I'm was beginning to think of Fall -- or maybe I was just wishing for cooler weather after a week of 90+ degree weather this week.  So I pulled the Nature's Print Stamp Set along with Rich Razzelberry to create today's card.  I also have been looking for a use for one of the dies in the Organic Beauty Die Set.  And, to finish off my card today, I opened my first set of Designer Series Paper and used a print from the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper Pack.   I also couldn't decide if I wanted my main image to have a shadow or to leave it plain, so I made one each way.  After seeing them, I defiantly like the one with the shadow better.  What do you think?  The Nature's Print Stamp set includes several sentiment in a beautiful font plus paint splotches to accent your designs.   I used a Light Crumb Cake Blends marker to add the shadow to the main image on one of the cards, but you could use any Light neutral color Blends. Today's card uses a base card of Thick Whisper White Cardstock.  Then a layer of Rich Razzelberry Cardstock with a grid of Rich Razzleberry die cut using the one of the Organic Beauty Dies.  I layered a piece of the Rustic Harvest 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper from the upcoming July - December 2022 Mini Catalog under the grid. 

My im age layer is a layer of Whisper White matted with a layer of Rich Razzelberry and then antoher matted layer of Whisper White.  Then I stamped one of the foliage stamps from Nature's Prints using Rich Razzelberry ink.  I used a blender pen to lightly "pull" the color on each leave to add more brightness to the color.  On one of the card, below, I added a light shadow of Crumb Cake Blends, and th eother I left plain, as I wasnt' sure which I would like better.  What do you think?

   

I die cut a Basic White circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies and samped a sentiment from Nature's Print using Rich Razzelberry Ink.  For a ltitle bling, I added three gold Brushed Metallic Dots to the corner of my image layer.

Today I was experimenting.  Experimenting with a new stamp set.  Experimenting with a different stampin technique.  Experimenting always brings me joy ...pleasure ...happiness; even when ideas don't turn out exactly like you thought they would.  I took up card making over 15 years ago, and after a long workday with even longer To-Do Lists, rush-hour traffic, long lines in stores, and other every-day activates, I found that creativity and experimentation bring me the joy and relaxation after a busy day.  Its easy to neglect the things that bring us joy, but we need to resolve to make our lives better by doing some of what brings us joy everyday.  Today I used the stamping-with-acrylic-blocks technique for one of my layers. Yes, clear blocks are not just for holding stamps.  By inking your acrylic block and stamping off, or inking and spritzing lightly with water, you can stamp a colored area for your greeting card that looks like an additional layer.  I inked an acrylic block with an Crumb Cake ink pad, stamped off, and then stamped a layer on my card.  I used a Water Painter to blend the stamped ink for a more rustic look.  Then I stamped a foliage image from the  Nature's Prints Stamp set.  This is a DisINKtive stamp set, which means it includes more realistic details right on the stamp.  I used a Water Painter to spread the details of the foliage to give it more color.  I used the Timework Type 3D Embossing folder, a sentiment from the Nature's Prints Stamp, and a piece of the 7/8" Natural Finish Ribbon to finish my card.  You'll enjoy exploring ideas with the Nature's Print Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.    Add it to your Shopping List today! 

To create today's card, I used a base card of Crumb Cake Cardstock.  Then I matted a piece of Basic White with Old Olive Cardstock after dry embossed the Basic White layer with the 3D Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. 

I inked up an acrylic block with my Crumb Cake ink pad, and stamped off once before stamping it in the center of my Basic White layer.  To give it a more rustic look, I used a Water Painter to even out the stamping.  Then I used one of the foliage stamps from the Nature's Prints stamp set and Stamped it in Old Olive ink over the stamped Crumb Cake layer.     

To complete the card, I added sentiments from the Nature's Prints Stamp Set Stamped on Basic White die cuts from the Potted Succulents Dies and a stitched circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The sentiments are stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I added a piece of 7/8" Natural Finish ribbon under the sentiments, and added Gold Brushed Metallic Dots to the card front as accents.
