I having a hard time not using the Serene Garden stamp set for every card since I got my hands on it. I just love this stamp set! Every time I see a card using this set, I catch myself drooling. It is so beautiful.
Today's card also uses the new Big Shot Embossing Mat to create the embossed edge on this card. You'll want to take a closer look at what you can do with this magic Embossing Mat in the video below. This is one of the cards we'll make in this weekend's card class. Read more below.

The basecard for this card is Thick Whisper White. Then a layer of Night of Navy. The main image is stamped in Night of Navy on Whisper White cardstock and colored with Calypso Coral and Old Olive Blends.
The sentiment label is a die cut from Daffodil Delight using the new Stitched Label Framelit Dies. The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy using the Itty Bitty Greeting stamp set. The butterfly is one of the additional elements from the Serene Garden set and it and the flower head are cut using the coordinating dies from the Serene Garden Bundle. The butterfly is colored with light and dark Daffodil Delight Blends alcohol-based markers.
The Stampin' Up! Serene Garden bundle includes the special embossing die that creates the beautiful embossed edge when used with the new Big Shot Embossing Mat. In the photo below, you can see the embossing die that creates these impressions.

Join us for the Card and Treat Boxes Class Sunday afternoon to learn how to use some of the newest tools from the new annual Stampin' Up! We'll make these 5 cards and 2 treat boxes using a variety of papers, die cuts, embossing folders, Blends Markers, and embellishments.
You'll love creating these cards and then sharing your creativity with others when you need to send a special "thank you", a friendly "hello", or remember a Birthday. Pick from a variety of sentiments so each card fits your needs..
