More Flowering Foils and So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper

Stampin' Up! Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper


I can't stop playing with the Stampin' Up! Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Today, I used the flower print again and colored them with Rococo Rose Blends.  The Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends Markers are one of the free Sale-A-Bration selections with a $50 order that Stampin' Up! announced last week during the third release of Sale-A-Bration selections.  But Sale-A-Bration Ends today, so if you want these alcohol makers, you must order them tonight, March, 31, 2020.  I fussy cut a partial flower on the edge of the full page of printed flowers, and layered a full flower over it to get the most out of the flowers in this print.  








Just like yesterday's card, the basecard for today's card is Thick Whisper White Cardstock.  Then a layer of So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper.  To adhere the vellum, I rolled Glue Dots around the end of a paper pierce and then added the glue dot behind one of the raised dots along the edge of the So Very Vellum.
  
I fussy cut the flowers from one of the prints from the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper, which I colored using Light and Dark Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends for the flower heads and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Marker for the leaves.  I popped the flowers up on Stamping Dimensionals before adhering it to the card front.

  
      



For the sentiment, I selected a sentiment from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set.  I stamped it on a piece of Whisper White using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots from my retired stash to complete the card.   Here's the card from yesterday next to today's card.  I think both colors are beautiful with the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper.Beautifu
    
     
  
This is a lovely card to send someone today to let them know you're thinking of them.  Or use another sentiment to personalize the card for your specific use.  Let's keep stampin' to take our mind off the news while we enjoy our time at home.  Sending handmade cards is a great way to stay in touch when you can't be with distant loved ones and your cards will be greatly appreciated during these times.

Adorable Dots all over the So Very Vellum, a Free Sale-A-Bration selection

Stampin' Up! So Very Vellum


I'm playing with the Adorable Dots in the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Papers, a free Sale-A-Bration Selection with a qualifying $50 USD order (less tax & shipping).  This paper pack includes 6 sheets of dotted vellum in three different colors, 2 each of Pool Party, Purple Posy, and Soft Sea Form.  These are perfect Spring and Easter colors.  I paired this paper with Bloom & Grow Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog and the Braided Border Punch from the Stampin' Up! January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.          
  





The basecard for this card is Thick Whisper White.  Before cutting my So Very Vellum Specialty Designer series Paper, I first stamped my sentiment in Gorgeous Grape.  The sentiment is from the Bloom & Grow stamp set. stamping the sentiment first allowed me to size my piece of Purple Posy So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper's diagonal cut.  I simply drew a diagonal pencil mark on my vellum and cut it with my trimmer slightly above my stamped sentiment.      





I  used the Braided Border Punch and Gorgeous Gape Cardstock to create the border between my vellum and the stamped sentiment. Then I stamped two of the flowers from Bloom & Grow Stamp Set and Die cut them using the Budding Blooms Dies.  I colored them with Light and Dark Highland Heather Stampin' Blends, and Light and Dark Granny Apply Green Stampin' Blends.  When I finished, I popped them up on Dimensionals, sized one to fit behind the other, which meant cutting off one flower, and attached it to my card.  A very simple card that packs a Springtime punch.

We're in the final weeks of Stampin' Up! We'll create these 6 cards, using several Sale-A-Bration selections and Coordinating Products.  We'll decorate our cards and matching envelopes in class and then you can use these projects as samples or templates to make more projects on your own.   These are great handmade projects you'll be proud to use with family or friends. 


New stampers, experienced stampers, and other Stampin' Up! demonstrators are always welcome. It's a great way to create samples, share ideas and learn from each other. We have a great bunch of stampers who enjoy joking and laughing while stamping the afternoon away.     

Class size is limited.  So register now.  Your class fee of $30 for these projects will include precut materials and embellishments.
