Another Striking Black And White Greeting Card using Shaded Summer Stamp Set

I really enjoyed creating my previous card using Shaded Summer, using just Black and White.  So, I decided to create another card using Black and White and Stampin' Up! Shaded Summer Stamp Set. For this card, I chose a lighter background from the All Together 6" X 6" Designer Series Papers, framed in Basic White, and atop a basecard of Basic Black. I created a wide diagonal Basic Black banner and used that to highlight the die cuts and stamped floral image.  Adding a few Black Matte Dots completed this sophisticated card.   Its very gratifying to be able to create beautiful cards with only black and white.  What more do you need? 

To create today's card, I used a base card of Basic Black Cardstock.  Then a layer of Basic White.  Then I selected one of the Black and White prints from the All Together 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper, found in the "What's New" section of the Stampin' Up! Web site.  I created a wide Basic Black diagonal piece to break up the pattern in the Designer Series Paper, and to use as the image laye for my stamped and die cut images.  

I stamped the largest flower image from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set and used the Summer Shadow Dies to die cut the image.  Additionally, I used other dies in the Shaded Summer Stamp set to cut Black and White layered flowers and added them to the image layer.  These dies will be available in the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog, and have been available previously. 

To finish my card, I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a Basic White oval glued to a scalloped Basic Black oval.  These were created using the Double Oval Punch.  Then I added the a few Matte Black Dots to the edge of the Designer Series Paper and next to the sentiment.
