- Stampin' Up! Snowflake Christmas Card using Twinkling Lights Dies and Joyful Flurry Stamp Set

How often do you find yourself mixing your favorite stamp sets or dies in the Stampin' Up! product line to create the card you design in your head. Products that work across the product line is one of Stampin' Up!'s best selling points. I find that it extends the usefulness of products I've purchased when I can combine stamps and dies from different sets. Today I'm using Joyful Flurry Bundle and Twinkling Lights Die's with the Brightest Glow Stamp Set to create a snowflake-themed Christmas Card. I used Soft Succulent Cardstock and both sides of a Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen print from the Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Series Paper for my card. I added snowflake stamps and Snowflake die cuts, and added an interesting shape with the Basic Borders Dies, and a Gold Shimmer Ribbon. I've been ordering Fall and Christmas Stamp Sets and Dies to take advantage of the Free Sale-A-Bration Selections that ends in less than two weeks. This card uses a basecard of Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then I selected a print from the Lights Aglow 6" X 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper pack, I cut it 3-3/4" wide by 5-1/2", and then used the left over print as a 1/4" border on the top and bottom of my card. Then I used one of the Basic Borders Dies and cut a piece of Basic White for the top of my card where I wanted to stamp a Christmas greeting.
For the large snowflake, I used the largest die from Twinkling Lights and brought it down in size by cutting off some of the edges. Then I die cut from Gold Foil Sheets another snowflake using dies from the Frosted Flurry Dies Set. I used another die from the set to die cut a smaller Soft Succulent Die cut. Then, I used one of the stamps from the Joyful Flurry Stamp Set and stamped another snowflake. I stamped a Merry Christmas sentiment from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set in Soft Succulent ink and added a Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon Bow to complete the card.
