Stampin' Up! Floral Essence Stamp Set
Today I'm very late in posting to my blog! Stampin' Up! released the Holiday Catalog .pdf for Demonstrators to get an early look at upcoming stamps, papers, dies and punches customers can begin ordering September 4. I also noticed a significant drop in the people who visited my blog today, which I can only attribute to Demonstrators pouring over the new catalog in anticipation of placing their pre-orders from the Holiday catalog August 1. So I apologize for the late blog post today, before I move on to today's card.
I'm showcasing the Very Versailles Stamp Set again today. You can see the other beautiful stamps in this set on page 1138 in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.
The basecard for this card is Gray Granite. Then a layer of Soft Sea Foam dry embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. Then the image layer includes another layer of Gray Granite. The images are stamped on Whisper White.
The script is stamped in Old Olive ink. The leaves are stamped in Gray Granite stamped off once. The sentiment, also from the Very Versailles Stamp Set, is tamped in Soft Sea Foam ink, but I might try it in Old Olive the next time I make this card. Finally, I added three Pearl Basic Jewels to the image layer.
Inspiration for this card came from fellow Demonstrator, Dawn Griffith. She used slightly different colors and she also has an alternate version of this card in Seaside Spray, which is just as beautiful. Think of your favorite color combinations and CASE this card with your own combination!
