- Stampin' Up! Flowing Flowers Stamp Set

I made a simple, but elegant Birthday Card today using the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set, a beautiful stamp set from the 2022 January - June Mini Catalog. This set is so easy to work with. ALthough the flower is beautiful alone, I stamped each flower twice and cut out the full flower and also the inner portion of the flower. I layered the two pieces of the flower together to give it more dimension on my card front. I added die cut leaves from the Artistically Inked stamp set and Artistic dies, which coordinate with Artistically Inked Stamp Set. The flowers were stamped in Misty Moonlight, one of the In Colors retiring 3 May 2021. I'm sad to see it go. The Flowing Flowers set includes several beautiful sentiments in addition to the Happy Birthday, I embossed in white on Misty Moonlight Cardstock. I cased this card from Connie Collins from Constantlystamping.com. She created this card as part of the Global Design Project.
To create today's card, I used a base card of Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to die cut another piece of Basic White Cardstock to use as my image layer.
I stamped the largest flower image from Flowing Flowers four times in Misty Moonlight ink. I fussy cut two of the flowers-stamped. Then I cut two of the inner layers of the flower and popped them up on Dimensional. I layered a larger flower with the inner flower before adding them to my card front.
I also stamped the double leaf from the Artistically Inked Stamp set on Basic White Cardstock using Misty Moonlight ink and die cut it with dies from the Artistic Dies. I used another die fom Artistic Dies to cute several open white leaves. I layed the Misty Moonlight leaves and the Basic White leaves under each flower.
I finished the card by creating a sentiment layer of Misty Moonlight die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Then I selected the Happy Birthday sentiment from Flowing Flowers and heat embossed it onto the Misty Moonlight die cut using White Embossing Powder. I added a few Iredescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete my card.

How to get the most from the Retiring Lists
Know what's retiring: I like to mark my current catalog with items I currently own, then I mark items that will retire. Then I look through the Last Chance List for favorites I still want to order before they retire. Retiring In Color Ink refills and Retiring In Color Cardstock tend to sell out right away. Save now on the In Color Blends Markers in Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight, which are on the Retiring Products List
Carry Over Bundles: Once my catalog is marked with retiring items, I decide if one of my favorite bundles is on the retiring list. The bundle may retire, but the individual pieces may carry over to the next catalog. Check the asterix on the Retiring List to identify those bundles that will no longer be sold at the 10% bundle savings. These bundles will carry over as individual pieces in the new catalog. While they will carry over, they will no longer be sold at the 10% bundle savings, which is generally reserved for new bundles. The bundle savings of 10% over the cost of purchasing each piece separately from the new annual catalog makes it worthwhile to purchase now, before the new catalog launches, if its on your Wish List.
Carry Over Products - After you've marked your catalog with retiring products, it is easier to see which products will still be available (will carry over) after the current Annual Catalog Retires. Since one of the unique points about Stampin' Up! is that our products coordinate between all current catalogs, you'll enjoy pairing what you have with new products becoming available in the 3 May 2022 Annual Catalog.
Products Sell Out Fast - Once you decide which Last Chance Products you want, order as soon as possible so you don't miss out on these savings.
