- Yet Another Alternative card from Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin Kit

I'm still creating alternative card ideas using the August 2022 Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin Craft Kit. Wow! This kit just keeps giving and giving! So many ideas! It's difficult to decide which to work on next. And the Demonstrator social media sites are filled with even more great uses for this kit. Thursday this week I met with a few friends who also purchased the kit, and we had a great time working on our Kits together! Today's card uses one of the free gifts that came in the kit -- Gold Foil Honeycomb pieces. Ten of them were included in the kit and you can use them as is as background pieces, or cut them into smaller pieces to use as accent pieces in your layouts. I used one of the watercolor Mossy Meadow basecard and added the Gold Foil honeycomb over the top. These Gold Foil Honeycomb pieces are white on the other side so you can decide which side you want to use on your cards. Then I cut a piece of Crush Curry cardstock and dry embossed it with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder to use as a banner across the center of my card. I used the Sunflower stamp and leaves from the stamp set included in the Kit and stamped and colored the Sunflower with Crush Curry Water Painters and Mossy Meadow ink for the leaves. I added a sentiment and a bee from the kit and my card was finished. Because Stampin' Up! products coordinate across the product line, it is easy to create alternate card ideas from pieces in your Paper Pumpkin Kits. You'll find that time flies as you complete this Kit, and you're sure to want to try a few alternative ideas for the cards in this Kit. While making the cards in this kit will give you personal joy, you'll enjoy even more the praise form your family and friends when they receive one of your beautiful handmade greeting cards.
I used one of the preprinted Watercolor Mossy Meadow basecards that came with the kit. Then I added one of the Gold Foil honeycombs, a free gift included with the Sweet Sunflower Paper Pumpkin Kit this month. Next, I added a strip of Crush Curry Cardstock dry embossed using the Hive 3D embossing Folder.
Finally, I stamped the sunflower and leaves with stamps from the set included in the Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin Kit. I used the twisting technique (stamp once, twist the stamp slightly and stamp again) when stamping the sunflower. I used my Water Painter to add Crushed Curry ink to the Sunflower leaves, Soft Suede to the Sunflower Center, and Mossy Meadow ink to the leaves. Then I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set in Soft Suede ink onto one of the die cut sentiment labels included in the kit. The bee is also from the Kit.
