Another day; another card made from the Topical Oasis Memories
& More Card Pack. It seems like recently, whenever I get into a time bind trying to get a card make for my daily blog post, I find myself reaching for the memories & More Card Pack from the Tropical Oasis set.
Today I chose one of the smaller card from the Tropical Oasis Memories & More Pack with an image of a Flamingo. The card has a wonderful sentiment scrolled across it, saying Tropical State of Mind. So true. You can't help but get into a Tropical State of Mind when looking at this fun card.
This card uses a Flirty Flamingo basecard. Then a layer of one of the prints from the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Papers. Then the image is one of the smaller cards from the Tropical Oasis Memories and More Card Pack.
I tried ribbon after ribbon from my stash before I stumbled on this perfect 3/8" Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon to use on this card. It picked up the colors of the print in the Designer Series Paper perfectly. I tied it in a bow and added it to the front of my card Then, the card still looked a little plain. I found some gold flower sequins in my Peaceful Poppies Sequins and added them to the top of the card. Finished in minutes.

New stampers, experienced stampers, and other Stampin' Up! demonstrators are always welcome. It's a great way to create samples, share ideas and learn from each other. We have a great bunch of stampers who enjoy joking and laughing while stamping the afternoon away.
We're using an assortment of Stampin' Up! stamps sets, die cuts and specialty papers on these cards, and you'll want to take a closer look at each of the cards we're making in this class.
