As a novice stamper over 15 years ago, I remember making a Tri-Fold Shutter Card that was beautiful, but I struggled with the dimensions and cutting direction for days!  And I hadn't tried making a Tri-fold Shutter card since.  This week end, I started my Christmas Cards and made 8 Tri-Fold Shutter cards and couldn't believe how simple they were to make!   So today, I decide to make a Fall-themed Tri-Fold Shutter card featuring the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper from the September - December 2023 Mini Catalog.  I also used die cuts of urns and ferns from the Earthen Textures Dies.  My color theme is Copper Clay, Pretty Peacock and Gold Foil.  Later in my blog, you'll find the cutting dimensions for this card.  I used a sentiment from the In The Moment Stamp Set on the back-side of my card on a Very Vanilla Cardstock panel.  I used four different prints from the All Around Autumn Designer Series Paper pack, plus a Pretty Peacock matte for the books print from the Designer Series Paper in the center panel.  I added a Copper Clay ribbon to the panner with the urn, and I added Gold Foil and Copper Clay foliage to the urn. The basecard for this card is Copper Clay Cardstock.  Then, the basecard is scored and cut according to the Dimensions below.

I selected four different prints from the All Around Autumn 6" X 6' Designer Series Paper Pack to cover my Copper Clay basecard.  On the two end panels (first and last panels) and for the panel in the center of the card, I choose a bookshelf print.  I matted the piece of Designer Series Paper in the center of the card with a Pretty Peacock Cardstock.   I  used a Pretty Peacock and gold foil print and a Copper Clay and gold foil prints from the All About Autumn 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper for the inside panels, and I selected a tufted leather image from the All About Autumn Designer Series Papers for my center top and center bottom panel.   

To finish my card, I used he Earthen Textures Dies to die cut vases and stems from the Earthen Elegance 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper, Copper Clay Cardstock and Gold Foil Sheets.  Then I added a 3/8"Copper Clay  Textured Ribbon under the vase or urn.  I debated about adding more bling to the card, but with so many patterns and images, I felt anything else would have gotten lost.  

Cutting Dimensions:

Basecard:  5-1/2" X 10-1/2", Scored at 1-3/4", 3-1/2", 7", 8-3/4"

Basecard cuts:  1-1/4" from 1-3/4" score line to 8-3/4"

Designer Series Paper: 

• First Panel:  5-1/4" X 1-1/2"
• Last Panel:  5-1/4" X 1-1/2"
• Inside Panels:  Need 4:  1" X 1-1/2"; Need 2:  2-3/4 X 1-1/2" 
• Center header and base:  1" X 3-1/4" (cut 2)
• Center inside panel:  Cardstock matte:  2-3/4" X 3-1/4"
•                                Designer Series Paper:  2-1/2" X 3"

Sentiment panel on backside:  Cardstock:  2-3/4" X 3-14"

To add a sentiment, I added a panel to the backside of the card

This is a great way to use small pieces of left-over Designer Series Paper, or to show off a larger image from your Designer Series Papers.
