Pale Papaya Monochromatic Thank You Card using Stampin' Up! Shaded Summer Stamp Set

I'm having so much fun with the new Pale Papaya In Color.  My card today uses new 2021-2023 In Color 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper, the Shaded Summer Stamp Set, along with coordinating 3/8" Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon and Pale Papaya Cardstock.  I love creating monochromatic cards -- cards using a single hue of color.  I seem to have an emotional connection with Pale Papaya, one of the 5 new In Colors.  It's like a ray of sunshine that brightens my day. Its not too serious, and leaves me with a positive attitude.  Which of the new 2021-2023 In Colors cause an emotional reaction in you?

The basecard for this card is Pale Papaya Cardstock.  Then a Basic White layer.  Next, I selected a Pale Papaya print from the 2021-2023 In Color 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper, and then created a scalloped image layer of Basic White.

Then I used the Shaded Summer Stamp Set to stamp a Pale Papaya image on the Basic Whte Stitched Scalloped layer.  I die cut the image layer using the Scalloped Contours Dies, which incudes sever sizes of Scalloped die.

I used the 3/8" Pale Papaya Open Weave ribbon to add a bow to the front of my card.  I stamped the Thank You Sentiment from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and added three of the Pale Papaya Genial Gems for bling.   I love the solid sections of the florals in the Shaded Summer Stamp Set.  It takes less time to stamp than using an image that requires coloring.  When I'm rushed for time, using the Shaded Summer Stamp saves me time, yet results in a professional-looking card.

Of the five new In Colors, I think I've already settled on Pale Papaya as my favorite, although this card layout would look wonderfully in any of the new In Colors.  I love having all of the coordinating colored Designer Series Papers, cardstock, and embellishments in the new In Colors.  It makes creating monochromatic cards fast and easy.  You'll have a great time finding ways to use your favorite new In Color and the Shaded Summer Stamp Set.   Order from my Stampin' Up! shopping site  24 X 7.

Simple Dragonfly Gaden Card using Dragonflies Punch

I simply haven't played with Dragonfly Garden enough.  This is such a wonderful stamp set with a coordinating punch--called Dragonflies Punch--for any level stamper.  The Dandy Garden 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper pairs so well with the images in the stamp set.  I heat embossed the flower image from the stamp set onto the Misty Moonlight cardstock, and stamped one of the dragonfly images on Basic White. Then, I used the Dragonflies Punch to punch it out.  Isn't this a lovely card?

The basecard for this card is Misty Moonlight Cardstock.  Then a layer of Dandy Garden 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper.  The image layer is also Misty Moonlight Cardstock with a Basic White mat.

The flower image from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp set was stamped using Versamark in.  Then I stamped one of the dragonflies form the stamp set using Misty Moonlight ink onto Basic White cardstock and punched it out using the Dragonflies Punch.  The sentiment is also stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and die cut using one of the dies from the the Stitched So Sweetly Dies set. Order items to make this projects from my Stampin' Up! shopping site  24 X 7.

2020-2021 Annual Catalog Last Chance Sale


The 2020-2021 Annual Catalog Last Chance Sale started 24 March, and runs until 3 May or until items sell out.






You've probably seen the announcement of the Last-Chance Products Sale going on right now before the new 2021-2022 Annual catalog is released to customers on May 4.  And, you probably have one or more of these Last-Chance items on your wish list.  With discounted prices on many items, now is the perfect time to buy. 

The new 2021-2022 Annual catalog will carry many new items, so that means several of our favorites will retire.  Also, some on the retiring list will remain in the catalog, but reconfigured.  For instance, Tear & Tape is on the retiring list, but it will be included in the new annual Stampin' Up! catalog, reconfigured.  Also, you'll see many bundles on the Last-Chance list of retiring items, but many of these items will carry over as separate items -- without the 10% savings enjoyed when purchasing them as bundles in the current catalog.  This means, you'll want to pick them up at the bundle pricing now rather than waiting until the new catalog is release.
