I look forward all year to using the sparkly papers and wonderful dies to create handmade Christmas Cards. This year Stampin' Up! didn't disappoint with marvelous new papers with gold embossing from the Lights Aglow Suite. The card I created today uses the Brightest Glow Stamp Set and one of the papers from the Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Series Paper pack. This paper has Gold foil snowflakes embedded in it. I also used the Frosted Flurry Dies from the Joyful Flurry bundle to add Gold Foil Snowflakes to my card Then I added a Gold & Vanilla Satin Edged Ribbon, and a sentiment from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set with Festive Pearls in the corners of the sentiment label. It's a simple card with a lot of impact. I'm getting an early start on Christmas Cards and I'm taking advantage of the Free Sale-A-Bration Selections that ends in less than a week, by ordering my Fall and Christmas themed stamp sets now. This card uses a basecard of Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock. Then I selected a Very Vanilla and gold print from the Lights Aglow 6" X 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper pack, and matted it in Gold Foil Sheet. I used the Seasonal Labels Dies to die cut a Very Vanilla label, and used the Gold from the Metallics Embossing Powers to emboss a sentiment from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set.
I die cut three snowflakes from Gold Foil Sheets using the Frosted Flurry Dies, and added a bow of Gold & Vanilla 3/8" Satin Edged Ribbon. I added tiny, Gold Festive Pearls to the edges of the sentiment label to finish my card.
