Valentine card with Sealed With Love Set
Here's a quick Valentine card to jump start your card making for the holiday that's less than 5 weeks away. This is a really fast card yet it is very striking.
The card uses one of the dies from the Window Box Thinlit Die set to create a die cut pattern on the top part of the card. This die cut matches patterns used in the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack and in the Sealed with Love Stamp set, so I'll probably find additional ways to use this die as I create more Valentine cards. The tag also comes from the Window Box Thinlit Die set. One tip I'll pass on; when a die does not have a matching layer, I simply draw around the outside of the die and hand cut a perfectly-sized layering piece.
A simple Real Red 3/8" stitched Satin ribbon and stamped elements and sentiments from the Sealed With Love Stamp set finishes this quick card. One surprise when you see the card in person is that I spotted a small square of Red Glimmer Paper scrap sitting on my work space while assembling the card. I added it behind the middle die cut and love the extra sparkle it added to the card.
