Stampin' Up! Lift Me Up bundle


I'm having so much fun with the Up & Away Dies from the Lift me Up stamp set and and dies set.   The dies in the set make it a snap to create a background of multiple colors.     





The coordinating stamp set adds dimension to complete this cards.  The background paper is from the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper.  This set has a number of sentiments, including Happy Birthday, Congratulations, Love is in the Air and others that make this an extremely versatile set to use all throughout the next few months as we move into Spring.

I added a sentiment from the stamp set in Basic Black and included a Flirty Flamingo Rauched Ribbon. 

 The weather was a wonderful 80 degrees today, and these hot air balloon colors were how the weather made me feel.  Now I'm hungry for orange sherbet ice cream...

WATERCOLOR PENCILS On Backorder and soon unavailable


Stampin' Up! announced this morning:  Due to the extreme popularity and demand for the new Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils, they will be temporarily unavailable to order after Thursday at noon (MT).  They will show as currently on backorder, and you can select to add them anyway.

 If you would like to put a set on backorder before Stampin' Up! shuts off orders, place an order for Watercolor Pencils before noon (MT) Thursday here.

The package of watercolor pencils on the left is how they come from Stampin' Up!  I used a die on my package to open a window on the back of my package to make it easier to grab the color I want more quickly.

    Detailed Dragonfly die cuts are beautiful in Glimmer Paper

    Beautiful Detailed Dragonfly


    I recently saw a similar Dragonfly card set on a blog called handmadebykim.co.uk, and had to do my own version of this beautiful card.      





    The cards uses the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits dies from the Occasions catalog.  The sentiment is from the Suite Sentiments set. 


    I used the background from the You've Got This set and the Playful Background set--both from the main catalog.  The Dragonflies are die cut from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.  The sentiment is stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink.
         
      



    The striped paper is from the Subtles Designer Series paper stack.  The basecard is Thick Whisper White cardstock    


    The ribbon is 3/8" Blushing Bride stitched satin ribbon.

      Stampin' Up! Beautiful You Set - from Simple to Sophisticated

      Beautiful You simple card set


      I recently saw a similar set of cards using the Beautiful You set, which is one of the most popular new sets from the Occasions catalog.   I love how fast these cards went together yet they could easily be turned into more sophisticated cards by adding shaped die cuts or more base card layers.    





      The cards all use Crumb Cake base cards, Soft Suede layers add interest.  The image is stamped in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla cardstock.  


      The sentiments are also from the Beautiful You set and are stamped in Soft Suede on the Crumb Cake base card.       
           
        



      The set of 3 cards would make a quick gift, or add them to your card stash; ready when you need a card quickly.    


      In addition to the Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla, I'm going to try several other combinations including: 
      • Pink Pirouette - Rich Razzleberry - Sweet Sugarplum, or
      • Soft Sky - Pool Party - Bermuda Bay





       And many more combinations of the 50 Stampin' Up! complimentary colors.
