Stampin' Up! Orange Sherbet Cool Treats

Today I'm using the Cool Treats Stamp set and matching dies again.  I can't seem to stay away.  I've fallen in love with Peekaboo Peach and I'm busy making card after card with Peekaboo Peach as the main accent color.       
     






I pulled out a set of thinlits I haven't used in a while, I used the Lots of Labels Framelits to create a Peekaboo Peach frame for the Orange Sherbet cone.  Its really Peekaboo Peach, but it reminds me so much of the Orange Sherbet cones I used to eat while growing up.



I also had been working with the Star Blast Edgelit Dies, and I found this super cute label boarder included in that die set.  After using the die to cut the boarder, I traced around the label die on Whisper White to create a white background behind the open frame. It fit well with this card. Because my mom always kept Orange Sherbet Ice Creme in our freezer when I was a teenager, the cone on this card felt like "love", and I chose the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases.  





I love how this card turned out.  I set it next to some of the other cards I've completed recently.  It highlights the way Stampin' Up dies, stamp sets, Designer Series Papers, cardstock, embellishments and colors all compliment each others.

      Stampin' Up! That's the Tag Set

      Stampin' Up! That's the Tag set

      Today I'm using the That's the Tag stamp set.  I've used it with the matching dies  (Timeless Tag Thinlit Dies) previously, but today, I just used the stamp set.      
           






      This set has a number of wonderful sentiments.  I used two different sentiments from the set.  This stamp set would make a wonderful Mother's Day card with the sentiment I used above "to my amazing mother.". The "Thank you" sentiment on the version below is another sentiment from the set. 




      I used one of the papers from the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper Packs along with Dragonfly dies cut from Blushing Bride Glimmer paper. 



      This card sparkled and twinkled from the sunlight coming in my window, and I must have shot 30 photos of this card trying to capture the sparkle from the sunlight.  Unfortunately, the best way to enjoy our glimmer paper is in real life!  



      This is the second version of the card with the "thank you" sentiment stamped in Old Olive.  The flower image is also from the That's the Tag stamp set.  It it stamped in Basic Gray and is water colored in Old Olive ink and Blushing Bride ink with an Aqua Painter.

      Registration for this class has begun.   We'll make eight different cards using Cool Treats & the Birthday Bash stamp sets and matching dies.  We'll also decorate our Sale-a-Bration tins as our 9th project.

      We'll decorated the Sale-A-Bration card tins with die cuts (above), and the Brushwork Alphabet stamp to stamp the word Cards to add a label to the tins.

      We'll also stamp the dividers included with our tins using the the Tin of Cards sets, and decorate our dividers with coordinating washi tape.
