Flourishing Phrases Card


I'm sure you're wondering, "where have I seen this before?"  This card is a remake of a card I made last June with Floral Boutique Design Designer Series Papers in Night of Navy.  This was an extremely popular set of Designer Series Paper in last year's annual catalog.  So much so that Stampin' Up! brought back several of the designs this year in the Fresh Florals Designer Series paper stack.  Only, unlike last year when only one color -- Night of Navy--was offered.  This year, these papers are available in all of the new In Colors!

I loved these papers last year, so I decided to remake the series of cards from last year in the new Berry Burst Fresh Floral Designer Series Papers. I displayed the first remake in my blog post Wednesday this week.    Today's card uses the Flourishing Phrases stamp set for images and phrases.  

  
The May Flowers Framelit was used to create the die cut framing the fussy cut stamped flower.

The flower was stamped directly on to the envelope as an accent.  The flower on the card was fussy cut and matted on top of a die cut from the May Flowers Framelit giving the flower more fullness and interest.  The Hello sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases set, and the set includes a number of wonderful sentiments.



The sentiment is stamped on one of the oval Stitched Shapes Thinlits and then layers over a Berry Burst scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Thinlit dies.

I'm so excited that we can finally begin ordering from the full catalog Stampin' Up! released today.  As a demonstrator we've been able to preorder a small selection or items from the new catalog.  Today, with the launch of the new catalog, we can order all the items from the new catalog.

A few of my favorites


With the launch of the new catalog, I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you.

1.  You Move Me Bundle.  If you love interactive cards and projects, you'll love this new bundle.  Take a peek at this video to see what fun cards you can create with this new set.  See it on page 170 of the new catalog.






2.  Floral Statements.  If you like to water color or use watercolor pencils, you'll love using Floral Statements to make these cards.  See it on page 163 of the new catalog.

3.  Coffee Break Suite.  Yesterday I posted the Coffee Cafe Bundle video, which I posted again today for your convenience.  You'll want to take a closer look at the coordinating papers and accessories that go along with this cute stamp set and die bundle.   See them on page 31 of the new catalog.









4.  This little Piggy.  You are going to fall in love with the Hogs & Kisses from these little Piggies.  I can't wait for this set to arrive so I can start sending out cheerful cards with these cute sentiments.  See them on page 48 of the new catalog.  The sentiments are attached to each image for faster stamping, so if you want to use another sentiment, simply mask the sentiment with a sticky note before you stamp and then stamp the sentiment of your choice.
