Powder Pink Delightful Daisy from Stampin' Up!

Delightful Daisy Suite


I'm so in love with the Delightful Daisy Suite that I could just break into song:
Daisy Daisy, give me your answer do.
I'm half crazy all for the love of you.

 We'll, enough of my off-key singing.  I pulled out my Daisy stamp and coordinating punch and felt very fortunate today.  I know many of you are waiting for this wonderful punch to come back into stock so your can order it.  The Stampin' Up! inventory report is still estimating availability on June 26.  While waiting,  take a class with your closest Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  He or she likely has the punch as Stampin' Up! sold a full year's worth of Daisy Punch inventory in two months during the demonstrator pre-order period and contact the vendor to place more orders as soon as they saw the popularity of this punch.

Here's my latest creation using this set.  While most of my early samples have used the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, today I paired it with the Powder Pink Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper today.  This card went together so fast!  I stamped the daisy in Power Pink on a Whisper White image block.  Then I stamped and punched another Daisy and offset the two images to give more fullness to the Daisy.

The Daisy Delight stamp set includes the small daisy that I used as a boarder under the punched Daisy.  I added a bow of Whisper White Bakers twine between the two rows of border daisy.  Then I grabbed a sentiment from Colorful Season set and a Clear Faceted Gem for the Daisy Center and my card was done.

Stampin' Up! Coffee Break Suite

Coffee Break Suite


I'm so excited to finally be playing with the Coffee Break Suite.  My first order from the full new catalog arrived yesterday and with all the new items to play with I settled on the Coffee Break Suite.  This suite includes the  Coffee Cafe stamp set and coordinating dies, plus the matching Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, ribbons, corrugated Elements and cardstock.  Here was the card I put together.

I'm so impressed with this die set!!  Especially the die that turns the coffee mug band into a corrugated piece.  It has so much texture in person, it really feels like a coffee cafe experience!
I started working with a couple of the Designer Series Papers (DSP) in the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper set, but settled on just the Garden Green one with the tiny hearts on it as both papers turned out to look too busy.


  
Check out the coordinating dies, ribbons, designer series papers and accessories.


The cups are cut out of Sahara Sand and the tops are Chocolate Chip ink.  The bands are Garden Green with a Pool Party Heart and the tiny heart is stamped in Chocolate Chip.  What doesn't show well is the texture in the band.  You can see it better in the close up below.  I loooove that feature.  It really makes your coffee cup look realistic.
  

For the background behind my coffee mugs, I choose a Sahara Sand background from the You've Got This set, and stamped off once before stamping on my Whisper White.  There is a coffee stained paper in this Designer Series Paper pack that almost worked, but the stain was in Soft Suede and I wanted the stain to match my cups.  The sentiment was stamped in Chocolate Chip.  The boarder for the sentiment is from the Rose Wonder set.

I couldn't decide if I wanted the tiny heart on the coffee mug banner or not.  I've gone back and forth on which I like better and I just couldn't decide.  What do you think?  With the tiny heart?  Or without?

I also noticed that one of the dies in this set fits the little mugs in one of the Coffee Break Designer Series Papers.  Here's a closer look below.  This designer paper includes two different mugs that this die fits, so I'm sure it is going to get a lot of use.



I love this little coffee mug die.  I cut a coffee mug using this little die and then traced it on the outside of my envelope and watercolored a couple of small mugs on the outside of my envelope to match the bigger cups on my card inside the envelope.
