At Home with You
The At Home with You set has sooooo many elements that you'll find yourself reaching for this set for many occasions. I used the elements to make two similar versions of the card. One says Congrats with a sentiment inside "on your new home". This would be a friendly card for a new neighbor. The other is "Hello" and the sentiment on the inside of the card reads "so glad you're here. Wouldn't this be a great card for the pillow of your guest bedroom to welcome overnight guests to your home?
The two lanterns on each side of the door were stamped in Fresh Fig and cut out of So Saffron. In order to create the white interior, I use a white watercolor pencil to lighten the So Saffron background.
The basecard is Very Vanilla and the card has a center opening. The door is attached to the top layer but loose on the bottom. I added a small Velcro tab to hold the card together. Another idea is to use very small, light weight magnets. On top of the Very Vanilla basecard are layers of So Saffron and Sahara Sand. The Sahara Sand layers are dry embossed with the Pinewood Planks thick embossing folder to create a wood siding effect. The door is stamped on So Saffron with Fresh Fig ink. The So Saffron was first stamped with the Hardwood background stamp in So Saffron. Then the door was cut out using the At Home Framelit Dies.
On the inside of the card, the door was stamped again with the sentiment.

I selected the Daisies and Pumpkins image on the card front to use the card as we move into Fall., This set has several different elements such as flowers or shrubs or pine boughs for the top of the door that make this set usable at different seasons or for different reasons.
