Stampin' Up! Christmas Pillow Box Treats 

We're all really busy this time of year, sending cards, shopping for gifts, exchanging treats and gift cards with your hair dresser, your postman and your neighbors.  Rather than just handing someone a unadorned gift card or a plain  candy treat, why not make it extra special by packaging it in a small pillow box decorated for the season? Use the fun Kraft Pillow Boxes from the  paper & Packaging page from the Stampin' Up! catalog -- page 192-193 --and embellish with your favorites from your Holiday catalog purchases.    

I decorated my small pillow boxes with the largest snowflake from the Snowflake Snowfall Thinlits Dies in Whisper White, created a bow with the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, and stamped a Merry Christmas sentiment in Cherry Cobbler from the Timeless Tidings Stamp set.  The card today uses a Crumb Cake cardstock base.  Then a layer of Powder Pink.  And then a layer of the All My Love Designer Series Paper.  The pillow boxes hold two Ferrero Rocher candies.  It perfect for a gift card and a couple of candy treats.    

I die cut the snowflakes out of Whisper White and added a couple of dimensionals to the back and added it to the front of the folded pillow box with the two candies inside.  Then I added the stamped sentiment with a mini glue dot to the snowflake.  I tied the Polka Dot Tulle bow three time to give it a fun, puffy look.  I looped the ties ribbon around the Kraft Pillow Box and hid the ends under the bow, attached to the top of the snowflake using mini glue dots.

I'm buying more of these pillow boxes with my next order so I can do a similar version with hearts for Valentine treat for my exercise group and others I want to remember.

Stampin' Up! Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies 

I know, I know.  It's not even Christmas,so what am I doing showing Valentine's Cards already.  Because demonstrators can pre-order from the upcoming catalogs, I'm just too excited to wait to show you some of the new items coming your way in January from the Spring Occasions catalog.  What I'm showing today is the new All My Love Designer Series Paper, Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies, and the sentiment is from the Forever Lovely stamp set.  You'll see them all in the new Occasions catalog, which will show up in your mail box towards the end of December if you're a customer of mine. If don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and you need the upcoming catalogs, just let me know.   

The card today uses a Crumb Cake cardstock base.  Then a layer of Powder Pink.  And then a layer of the All My Love Designer Series Paper.    

I used the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies to create the two hearts.  The one on the left is Lovely Lipstick, and the one on the right is Pink Powder.  If you look closely, you can see the stitches on the Powder Pink heart.  This die set includes 16 dies, but several of the dies cut frames only, like the Power Pink die on my card.  When you cut this heart-shaped, stitched frame, you also cut a heart from the center, meaning your die does double duty.   I haven't begun to use all of the possible heart shapes created by this wonderful die set.    

The sentiment shape is a die cut from the Lakeside Framelit Dies.  The sentiment is from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set, and the sentiment is stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink.  A Red Rhinestone accents the end of the sentiment label.

The ribbon is the 3/8" Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon from the Stampin' Up! 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  It is so lovely in real life. The entire All My Love Suite from the new Spring Occasions catalog will create cards not only for Valentine's Day, but Weddings, Anniversaries, and any time you want to let someone you love know you are thinking about them.

Stampin' Up! Lasting Lily Stamp Set

I'm showing another sneak peek today of another free Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration selection; the Lasting Lily stamp set.  This is one of the two selections that is free with a $100 order beginning January 3 as part of Sale-A-Bration; and well-worth it!  The lovely stamp set includes this beautiful lily and 10 different sentiments.  I've used two of them on the two versions of the cards I created today.  You'll want to save some of your holiday gift money for January 3, when the new Occasions catalog is released and you'll be able to select free Sale-A-Bration gifts -- like the Lasting Lily stamp set -- with your $50 or $100 order.  

The Stampin' Up! Lasting Lily stamp set is a Distinktive-style stamp set.  That means it uses the special technology patented by Stampin' Up! to make the stamp look like it has been stamped two or three times to crate realistic shading.  

I used my Stamparatus and stamped both Grapefruit Grove lilies at the same time.  Then I use the stems on clear blocks to stamp the stems and the sentiments.  

The ink and papers used were Grapefruit Grove, Whisper White and the polka dots are one of the 6" X 6" In Color 6 X 6" prints from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  The stems and sentiment were stamped in Pear Pizzazz.

The accents in the right hand card are the Grapefruit Faceted Dots form the Accessories section of the  Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  I can't wait to try this beautiful stamp set in more colors.  It is so lovely in real life.

Winter Woods bundle will carry over

I love that some of my favorite Holiday Stamp Sets will carry over beyond the Holiday catalog period.  Winter Woods is one of my favorite new stamp sets from the Holiday catalog, and it ties back and works well with the Lovely as a Tree Stamp set and the Rooted in Nature Bundle from the annual Stampin' Up! catalog.

The advantage of purchasing the Winter Woods Bundle now as part of the Year End-Close out is that you can still purchase the stamp set and coordinating dies at a 10% savings when the stamp set and dies are purchased as a bundle.  However, although you'll be able to purchase Winter Woods after the Year-End Closeout, beginning January 3, you won't be able to purchase the set at the 10% bundle savings.  Take a closer look at this fun bundle in the attached video.  Winter Woods - (wood-mount, 149991; clear-mount - 149992).  I recommend the clear mount, as it works with the Stamparatus, if you choose to use it.  Wood-mount stamps don't work with your Stamparatus.

Stampin' Up! Lovely Lattice Stamp Set

Today's card is a sneak peek at one of the free selections from the Sale-A-Bration brochure customers will be able to select with a $50 order beginning January 3.  Demonstrators can order early so we have time to showcase these new products and make samples for our classes before they are generally available.  

The Stampin' Up! Lovely Lattice stamp set was one I almost passed up in the Sale-A-Bration selection brochure.  I'm so glad I added it to my order at the last minute before I hit the "order" button.  I'm working on Thank You cards for after Christmas, and decided to play with this set .  Wow!  I love stamp sets that are fast and easy to use.  This card came together in a matter of minutes.  I was so tempted to add embellishments or a ribbon, which I'll probably try in a later card, but I'm so pleased with the simple look of this card I'm glad I didn't add anything.  

This card used the sentiment from Butterfly Gala.    The main image is the from the Lovely Lattice Stamp set.

Cardstock is Crumb Cake.  Ink is Night of Navy.  So very simple, you'll have your after-Christmas Thank You cards stamped in the blink of an eye.  This is a great card if you're a new stamper since it uses limited supplies.  I can't wait to try coloring this stamp set with blends or colored pencils.
