Stampin' Up! Lasting Lilly & Lily Framelits Dies

I'm so excited!  Late this afternoon I received my Second Release Sale-A-Bration pre-order and Sale-A-Bration Coordinating products.  I got a few minutes to try one of the Coordination item.  I'll show you one today and more to follow.  So what is Sale-A-Bration Second Release?   Beginning February 15-March 31, Stampin' Up! will add several more FREE products you can earn with a $50 or $100 order.  Current Sale-A-Bration products remain available, as well.  Well, then, what is the Sale-A-Bration Coordination Release?  Beginning March 1-31, Stampin' Up! will begin offering products you can purchase that coordinate with select Sale-A-Bration items.  Today I'm sharing one of these new Coordinating Products -- the Lily Framelits Dies, which coordinate with the Stampin' Up! With the new Lily Framelits Dies, you can now Die cut your lilies, stems, plus the die set includes two sentiment shapes that can be used alone or layered, as I did on the card above.  I used a basecard of Soft Sea Foam, then a layer of Calypso Coral.  Then an image layer of Whisper White.  The lilies are stamped in Calypso Coral, and the one on the right is die cut with the new Lily Framelits Die.  The stems are stamped in Mint Macaron ink.

The sentiment die cut uses two dies from the new Lily Framelits Dies.  The bottom layer in Calypso Coral and the top layer is Whisper White with the sentiment stamped in Night of Navy.  

The die cut at the top and the bottom of the card is from a new Doily Builder Thinlits Dies set in the Occasions catalog.  I cut it in half and used part on the top of the card and part on the bottom. A small pearl from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearl package accents the larger die cut lily.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Paper of your Dreams

I'm still playing with the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.  There are so many wonderful colors in this free Sale-A-Bration pick, that you'll find many of your accessories will easily coordinate with this beautiful Designer Series Paper.  Today, I used a large piece of the Stampin' Up! Botanical Butterfly Designer Paper with a Balmy Blue background as the focal point for my card.  The colors are so vibrant!    The sentiment is from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set and the sentiment die cut is from the Wonderful Floral Framelit Dies are from the Occasions catalog and the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper is a free selection with a $50 order from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.   

I used a basecard of Balmy Blue.  Then a layer of Whisper White.  And then a layer of a print from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series papers. The butterflies include many of my favorite colors --Heather Highland, Grapefruit Grove, and Granny APple Green -- and the Balmy Blue backgroun makes these colors pop!

The sentiment die cut is cut with a die from the Wonderful Floral Framelit Dies.  The Sentiment is from the Forever Lovely stamp set and is stamped in Night of Navy on Whisper White.  The sentiment panel is accented with small pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearl package.  

The face of the card is also accented with a Grapefruit Grove Colored Doilies and die cut leaves from Old Olive cardstock.  the ribbon is from the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack -- a free Sale-A-Bration selection that is currently sold out with more inventory expected February 11. The popular Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper is also backordered with a very large order arriving at the Stampin' Up! Warehouse on February 11.  As you can see, the Sale-A-Bration items have been very, very popular this year, with the fabulous Sale-A-Bration sign-up special attracting even more interest in Stampin' Up! than in previous Sale-A-Bration events.   Also, another piece of good news: for those of you waiting for the Butterfly Duet  Punch. We've learn that more stock will arrive April 1.   Too late for Sale-A-Bration, but it will carry over as a current product after Sale-A-Bration ends, March 31.
  

The last card, pictured above, uses a variation of the layout in the first two photos; with a different color Organdy Ribbon from the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack.  I changed the layout to highlight a butterfly with more Grapefruit Grove and picked the Grapefruit Grove Organdy Ribbon to match the butterfly and doily.  While Stampin' Up! makes it easy to coordinate stamps, dies, and accessories by grouping items into product suites to make it easier to quickly coordinate items, I also love that Stampin' Up! products coordinate so well across the catalog with other accessories and die cuts.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Stamp Set

I've been playing a little bit with the beautiful papers from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, but today, I really had fun with the different butterflies in this paper.  There is so much variety.  I decided to make two cards and selected butterflies with a Heather Highland shades and Granny Apple Green for one and Daffodil Delight and Granny APple Green for the other.  I also used two different sentiments from the Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Stamp Set -- highlighting one on each card.  The Butterfly Gala Stamp Set is from the Occasions catalog and the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper is a free selection with a $50 order from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.   

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Stamp Set

I used a basecard of Soft Sea Foam.  Then I used one of the striped patterns from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series papers and one of the prints from the same paper pack to create a center panel.  I only used 3/4" strips of the striped material as the back side of the paper is filled with Butterflies I wanted to use on other projects.

The butterflies are from two different prints in Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.  I hand cut them out the the paper and then used a Granny Apply Green Blends or a Daffodil Delight Blends pen to color the Balmy Blue or Grapefruit Grove boarders so they better matched the background paper.  For one card, I selected Butterflies with mostly yellow shades.  For the other card, I selected Butterflies with Heather Highland shades.         

  

Sentiments from Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Stamp Set

I used a strip of Basic Black cardstock for the sentiment.  Using sentiments from Stampin' Up! BUtterfly Gala Stamp Set, I heat embossed the sentiments with White embossing powder, and then cut them to fit across the top of the largest butterflies tips.  These large butterflies we towards the edges o the paper and the tips were cut off, however, you would never know it after I positioned the sentiment across the tips to cover these parts of the image.

I added Granny Apple Green Glitter Enamel Dots to each edge of the Basic Black sentiment.

If you like something you see, order it as soon as possible.  Back in November when I saw all of the wonderful Butterfly items in the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs, I knew I was going to order everything!  Butterflies are very popular in our catalogs, and sales of these new butterflies --as expected--have been booming!  As mentioned earlier, the Butterfly punch is out of stock.  Stampin' Up! had ordered 4 times the quantities of a normal yearly inventory for a punch, when they realized how popular this punch was going to be after Demonstrator pre-orders and early Sale-A-Bration orders began.  And it still wasn't enough!  Stampin' Up! is waiting for word on when the next order will arrive, but due to the time it takes to order punches, it looks like it might be towards the end of Sale-A-Bration before this punch is back in stock.  But don't worry.  This punch will carry over after Sale-A-Bration, so be sure to add it to your Wish List to order as soon as it become available again.  I'll let you know when new stock arrives.

Another Valentine Card with Meant to Be Stamp Set

I'm still not finished with all my Valentine's Card.  Are You?  Here's a design I created today that is very, very simple, yet looks amazing.  It uses the Stampin' Up! Meant To Be Stamp Set, the All My Love Designer Series Paper, and a ribbon and epoxy hearts from the All My Love Suite from the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog plus papers from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.   

I used a basecard of Lovely Lipstick cardstock.  I wasn't sure I would like this color as much as I did once I started using it this year.  I'm so happy Stampin' Up! added it as one of the new In Colors.  Then I used a layer of Whisper White.  Next, for my image layer I used All My Love Designer Series Paper. 
        

  

The sentiment is from the Meant To Be Stamp Set.  I die cut the largest circle from Whisper White using the Stitched Shapes Framelit and stamped the sentiment in Lovely Lipstick.  I also selected the swirl or flowers boarder from the same set and stamped it under the sentiment.  Below that, I added three of the smallest Heart Epoxy Droplets from the All My Love suite on Pg 5 of the Occasions catalog. 

The bow on the card uses All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack from the All My Love Suite.  It includes two different ribbons.  I used the 1/3" Lovely Lipstick ribbon with the white stitched edge for my card.
