Stampin' Up! Last Chance List
In preparation for the new 2019-2020 catalogs, Stampin' Up! is giving us a final chance to purchase our favorites from the current catalogs before they are gone forever. So grab your current copy of the Occasions Catalogs and the 2018-2019 Annual catalog, visit the Last Chance section on my online store or download a copy of the Last Chance lists (below), and mark up your catalogs so you don't miss ordering that Stamp Set and papers you've had your eye on for a while. Because on June 3, we say "farewell" to some of our favorites -- including the ever fabulous Lovely As A Tree stamp set, which has been in the catalog for at least the 12+ years I've been a demonstrator.
Please Note: You will see several "bundles" -- stamp sets with coordinating punches or dies -- that are on the retiring list. However, many of these dies and punches WILL be available in the new catalog as individual items, but will NOT be sold as "bundles" with the associated 10% savings. Typically, "bundle pricing is only available for the first year an item is available. How to play this? If you like a bundle, you'll still be able to order it until June 3 at the "bundle" price, so order bundles as soon as you finish reviewing the Last Chance List.
Things to consider ordering now:
The 2017-2019 In Colors (stamp pads, ink refills, cardstock and accessories) will retire June 3. This means anything in Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, Berry Burst and Fresh Fig are retiring. These In Color items are typically the first items to sell out, and I often have a customer who will call me about missing out on these items once they are sold out. Consider stocking up on these items now. The refill items are listed below, since these sell out first. Just click the color you want and you'll be taken to my on-line store. Also, here's a list of the price changes expected in the 2020 catalog. Stock up on your favorites cardstock colors, embossing powders, foil sheets, and note cards before the new prices go into effect January 4.

How I use these lists: I use the lists in 2 ways:
- I first go through my Occasions catalog and my Annual catalog and mark each page if the item is retired. I save one of my catalogs each year marked up with sets I have, and plan to keep, and sets that are retired.
- Then I take the Excel version of the list and I sort it by the Description column so that I have an alphabetized list of all items. Then I filter it by stamp sets and print a copy. Then I filter it again by paper, and print a copy. Then I filter it again for Accessories and Tools. This way I can quickly pull retiring stamp sets from my "current" stamp shelves, pull retiring papers from my "current" paper shelves, and pull all of my "retiring" accessories and tools from my craft shelves on June 3 when they officially retire.
- I also keep these lists so that if I ever decide to sell my retired items, I have a quick list to refer to for prices.
I just returned from the Stampin' Up! On Stage event in San Antonio, and all I can say is your going to love the new stamp sets and product suites Stampin' Up! has for us in the coming catalog! I receive several free stamp sets and papers during the event so you'll begin seeing "sneak peeks" of upcoming items as we wind down the current catalog year and begin planning for the new catalog on June 4.
I'm putting together my new catalog mailing list this month. If you've purchased from me in the past 6 months, you'll be on the my list to receive a new catalog. If you haven't purchased and don't have a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator. You'll want you copy before the June 4 catalog goes live so you have time to put together your Wish List and be the first to order on June 4.
Recently announced Catalog Changeover news from Stampin' Up!
- Change-over from Clear-Mount to Cling, and elimination of wood-mount stamps. Stamp Sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018-2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019-2020- annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and /or wood mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 3, 2019 (whichever comes first). If our inventory is depleted before June 3, customers will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover stamp sets) before they can be ordered from the catalog! All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4 2019. Be sure to read the information on different kind of stamps Stampin' Up! carries so that you're sure you're ordering the format you want.
- Die-Cutting and Embossing Product Line Changes. The relationship with the current vendor has been reassessed, and Stampin' Up! has decided to move in a new directions. This change is taking time to resolve and one issue is that no die-cutting and embossing machine will be offered in the new 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! catalog. New dies and embossing folders will be offered in the 2019-2010 annual catalog using the new supplier. The dies and folders will be manufactured differently. This means the way you use the new style of dies and folders will be a little different than how you use the old style dies and folder. Both the new-style and old-style dies and embossing folders can work with any die-cutting & embossing machine. (In some cases, adaptations like shims may be required because the gap between rollers on machines may vary slightly between manufacturers). The new relationship is direct between Stampin' Up! and the manufacturer instead of working with another company who then works with different factories. This gives Stampin' Up! greater control and potential in the manufacturing process. We're have more to share with you as the relationship proceeds.
- The current Stampin' Trimmer will be discontinued June 3, 2019, including all accessories--replacement cutting blades, scoring blades, and cutting mats. A new trimmer will eventually be carried in the catalog. During the gap while Stampin' Up! selects a new vendor, you may want to order additional cutting blades and cutting mats for your current Stampin' Trimmer. The cutting blade stock Stampin' Up! ordered will be delivered to Stampin' Up! in batches, so you will see the inventory for blades go in and out of stock and then in stock again when the next batch is received. I'll watch inventory lists and will alert you to when I see this item back in stock.
- Stampin' Up! reviewed their pricing and there are several increases coming with the new catalog including slight increases on 8-1/2 X 11" cardstock, Versamark pad, envelopes, embossing powder, Stampin' Scrub, Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Mist refills, Foil Sheets, and Note cards & Envelopes. This is a heads up to stock up on these supplies before the new prices go into affect. These new prices will be in effect with the new 2019-2020 catalog published June 4, including Demonstrator Pre-Orders from the new catalog.
