Daisy Lane & Butterfly Gala
Here's an idea for a simple card using the Daisy Lane Stamp Set, Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and the coordinating punches for each of these stamp sets. This simple card can be created in short order by stamping two of the large Daisies, one of the small daisies, and then using the Daisy Punch and the Medium Punch. Then I stamped one of the large Butterflies from Butterfly Gala and use the Butterfly Duet Punch to punch it out after coloring with Blends markers.
I use both the Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie markers to color the butterfly. and I used a Dark Daffodil Delight Blends to color the center of the daisy.
The basecard is Night of Navy cardstock. Then the image layer is whisper White.
The daisy stem from Daisy Lane is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink. The flower petals are stamped in Smoky Slate. The butterfly is tamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with the Light ad Dark Pumpkin Pie Blends before being punched out using the Butterfly Duo punch. Each punched daisy "lost" one petal, which were glued as if falling from the daisy.
I used two different sentiments. One if from Band Together stamp set and the other is from Tasteful Textures Stamp Set. The sentiments are stamped in Night of Navy Ink.
