Snow Globe Scenes Gift Card Holder
Today's project is a Snow Globe Scene using the Still Scenes Bundle and the silver foil side of the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. Inside is a pocket to hold a gift card. The shaker dome houses a white church, silver foil trees and Snowflake Sequins. small candy holder with a gift card or business card slot, using Stampin' Up! Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper. As always, the photo doesn't capture the silver foil adequately. I may try more photos tomorrow when I can photograph this gift card holder in natural light.
Here's what I used to create these:
The basecard is Night of Navy and it is a standard 11" X 4-1/4" basecard. It is scored at 5-1/2" and 1-1/2". The 1-1/2" fold creates a pocket on the inside of the card that holds the gift card...a nice surprise in a lovely card!
The left side of the card front includes a layer of Silver Foil: 4 X 3-3/4", and on the right side, the Silver Foil Layer is 1-1/4" X 4".
The Feels Like Frost 6" X 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper Layer on the left side is 3-3/4" x 3-1/2; and it is 1" X 3-3/4" on the right side.
The Snow Globe Scene Dies were used to create the scene in the Snow Globe Shaker Dome. The dome is filled with Snowflake Sequins. .. well, not filled. More like a couple of pinches.
The church is backed with Gold Foil Sheets to make it look like there are lights in the windows. The trees are Silver Foil Sheets. The bow is 3/8" Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon. The sentiment includes a Clear Droplet from the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets.

Silver Foil Sheets: 5-1/4 X 4"
Whisper White: 5" X 3-3/4"
Left and right sides:
Silver Foil Sheets: 1-1/4 X 4" (2 pieces)
Feels Like Frost: 1" X 3-3/4" (2 pieces)
I used a strip of Tear & Tape to hold down the edges of the pocket holding the gift card.
The sentiments are from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set, stamped on a strip of Whisper white. This is another fun card using the Snow Globe Shaker Domes. I CASED it from Peanuts and Peppers Papercrafting blog. This is a great card to use with any Designer Series Papers and for many occasions because of the multiple elements you can use to create different scenes included in the Still Scenes Bundle. You'll love everything you make with it.
