Stampin' Up! All Dress Up Dies for Treats

I was thinking about what kind of treat holders I wanted to create for Valentines this year.  As I flipped through new January-June 2020 Mini catalog I decided to try the treat holder created with the All Dressed Up Dies on page 56 of the catalog.  This die set includes dies for cutting out the images in the Dressed to Impress Stamp Set, but it also includes all the elements you see below for creating these cute little treat holders. Perfect for Valentines, but use any cardstock or Designer Series Paper and you'll find many additional uses for this little purses.

For the flowered treat holder below, I selected a print from the Best Dressed 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper. If you sign up as a Demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration, you can get this print as part of the 6" X 6" Sampler free with your starter kit.  I used Mambo Melon and Whisper White to create the handles and buttons on this cute purse.  You use the dies to cut two of the main pieces and two of the handles and brackets.  Depending on how you add the handles, you can create different looks with this die.

For the second treat holder/purse,I chose Melon Mambo cardstock and Basic Black.  I embossed just the front portion of the purse using the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder.   I used Tear & Tape to hold the treat holder together as Tear & Tape is better suited to 3 Dimensional items than Tape Runner or Multipurpose glue.

These small treat holders / purses are perfect for a bag of candy or nut, a gift card, or to hold a cute set of notes cards and envelopes made with the Best Dress 3" X 3" Note Cards and Envelopes that are part of the Best Dressed Suite.

I love the fun looks you can create with this set of dies.  You'll want to look through the samples on page 54-56 of the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog to see more samples made with this Suite. You'll Love What YOU Make with this suite.  If you don't have a demonstrator and want a copy of the new, January - June 2020 Mini catalogcontact me.   I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
