Stampin' Up! Honey Bee Valentine Card
Some days the cards you make give you feelings of great elation. Its more then mere happiness, it is extreme, exhilarating joy. The card I made using the Stampin' Up! Honey Bee is one such card. I can't explain how light-hearted this card makes me fee! It's simple, but it left me with such happiness! Like a dog with two tails!! I'm using items not only from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog, but I'm also using the Sale-A-Bration Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is one set that won't leave you ambivalent!
Paper
The basecard for today's card is Basic Black Cardstock. Then a layer of So Saffron. Then one of the prints from the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper. I used the plain heart from the Heart Punch Pack to punch a heart out of the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper layer. Then I die cut a honeycomb out of Gold Glimmer Paper using the Detailed Bees Dies. I adhered the Gold Honeycomb to the backside of the heart opening.
I saved the honeycomb Gold Glimmer shapes and used a few of them to accent some of the spots on the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper I also used the Detailed Bee Dies to punch out two hearts to use as accent.
I stamped the large bee from the Honey Bee Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and die cut it using the Detailed Bee Dies. I colored it with the So Saffron Light Stampin' Blends Maker, popped it up on Dimensionals and added it to the side of the heart.
The sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo Black and a small Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels accents the sentiment.
