Valentine Card Stitched Be Mine Dies
I made a couple versions of today's card. Same color combination, same background and embellishments, but different treatment of the hearts and use of components from the I'll Bee Yours Paper Pumpkin Kit from January. These Valentine cards went together so easily this year...and I love the non-traditional Valentine Colors! The white heart background is the Detailed Hearts Die and the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder background are from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog The large heart from the Stitched Be Mine Dies are from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. The smaller heart with flowers and the sentiment are from the I'll Bee Yours Paper Pumpkin January 2020 Kit. Its fun when all of the items from different Stampin' Up! catalogs work together.
The basecard for today's card is Highland Heather Cardstock. Then a layer of Purple Pose dry embossed with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Then a layer of Whisper White Hears created with the Detailed Hearts Die.
The two versions then treated the hearts a little differently. Both used the Stitched Be Mine dies One card used a solid heart and the other included a solid outline with a Vellum interior. Additional heart accents from the Stitched Be Mine Dies were added to each card.
To finish the card, I used a sentiment label and from the I'll Bee Yours Paper Pumpkin Kit along with the Happy Valentine's Day stamp set from Paper Pumpkin and stamped it in Gorgeous Grape ink. I then tied a bow out of the Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and added to the card front.
