Vellum softness with Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper

  • Stampin' Up! So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Sale-A-Bration ends March 31 - More free selections added

Stampin' Up! Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper

Although the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper is sold out, many of you have already receive this as one of your free Sale-A-Bration Selections and are looking for ideas for using this wonderful vellum.  So, today, I paired it with flowers fussy cut form the Stampin' Up! Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper, another Free Sale-A-Bration Selection with qualifying order, and colored using Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

The basecard for today's card is Thick Whisper White Cardstock.  Then a layer of So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper.  To adhere the vellum, I rolled Glue Dots around the end of a paper pierce and then added the glue dot behind one of the raised dots along the edge of the So Very Vellum.

I fussy cut the flowers from one of the prints from the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper, which I colored using Light and Dark Mango Melody Stampin' Blends for the flower heads and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Marker for the leaves.  I popped the flowers up on Stamping Diemensionals before adhering it to the card front.

For the sentiment, I die cut one of the shapes from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, and then stamped the Think of You sentiment from the Little Ladybug Host Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to accent the card.

This is a lovely card to send someone today to let them know you're thinking of them.  Or use another sentiment to personalize the card for your specific use.  Let's keep stampin' to take our mind off the news while we enjoy our time at home.  Sending handmade cards is a great way to stay in touch when you can't be with distant loved ones and your cards will be greatly appreciated during these times.

Card idea to take you away from it all using the Stampin' Up! Parisian Beauty Bundle

  • Stampin' Up! Parisian Beauty Stamp Set
  • Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder
  • Sale-A-Bration ends March 31 - More free selections added

Stampin' Up! Parisian Beauty Bundle

Today's card uses a mix of new and some retired products.  I strongly support using up your current stash while you're at home right now protecting yourself and your loved ones.  While your most important job is to protect yourself and your loved ones, it is also an opportunity to add some cheer to others who may not be able to surround themselves with family or close friends.  Make some cards today and drop them in the mail to those you wish to know you're thinking of them.

Today I'm highlighting the Parisian Beauty Bundle, which includes the Parisian Beauty Stamp Set and the Parisian Dies from the Stampin' Up! January-June Mini Catalog. This is part of the Parisian Blossoms Suite, and it includes the fabulous Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder and Petal Pink 1/4" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.  This was one of the cards we made at a recent show box swap, one of the best ways to build your card ideas.

The basecard for today's card is Crumb Cake Cardstock.  Then a layer of Petal Pink dry embossed using the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder on the left side and a retired Designer Series Paper on the right side.  Check your stash, you may have some of the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper for last year's annual catalog, which was used on the right side of the card front.

Several dies cuts were added to the card front using dies from the Parisian Dies.  The Eiffel Tower was die cut from Silver Foil paper.  The word, merci, was die cut from Melon Mambo cardstock.  The curlicue is die cut out of Whisper White.  The Fleur de Lise  is stamped on Whisper White with Rich Razzelberry ink.

I added a bow from Petal Pink 1/4" Metallic-Edged Ribbon.

This is a great card to send to someone you want to thank for their help during these challenging times.  Or use another sentiment from a stamp set or one of our word dies like Sweet Silhouettes, Well Written, or Word Wishes Dies to personalize the card for your specific use.  Let's keep stampin' to take our mind off the news while we enjoy our time at home.  Sending handmade cards is a great way to stay in touch when you can't be with distant loved ones and your cards will be greatly appreciated during trying times.
