Monochromatic card using the stunning Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set

  • More Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set
  • Stampin' Up! Flowers For Every Season Suite with two stamp bundles
  • Finals weeks of Pick a Free Bundle Starter Kit Promotion

Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set

Today, I'm again using the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! Flowers For Every Season Suite.  I love monochromatic cards, and stampin' this card in Smoky Slate and Whisper White created an elegant card with very few supplies and steps.  I used the Sunflowers Dies to create the stunning sunflower die cut, and used more dies from the set to create vellum leaves and foliage that are a subtle compliment to the gorgeous sunflower.   I used the Pinewood Plants 3D embossing Folder and dies from the Stitched Rectangles Dies and Tasteful Labels Dies to create the labels and mats for the sentiment layers.  Both sentiments are from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set.

The basecard for this card is Thick Whisper White.  Then a layer of Smoky Slate.  Then another layer of Whisper White dry embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.

I stamped the large Sunflowers in Smoky Slate and used the Sunflowers Dies to die cut it.  I also die cut from Vellum Cardstock a leaf and foliage using the Sunflowers Dies.  I attached the leaf and foliage to the back of he Sunflower with Mini Glue Dots.  Then I popped the Sunflower up on Dimensionals.

The sentiments are from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set, and stamped in Smoky Slate ink on Whisper white Cardstock.  On sentiment was die cut using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  the other was die cut using dies from the Tasteful Labels Dies.  Both cards are accented with Frosted Epoxy Droplets.  ...such pretty cards...

If the extra work of coloring the large sunflower has made you hesitate to get this set, this is an example of how stunning this sunflower can look when using only one color. You can create glamorous cards with just a few crafting supplies.  You'll love creating lovely cards and projects with this set, and you'll be proud to send someone special the cards you made using this lovely suite.

Cinnamon Cider Sunflower Card

  • Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set
  • Stampin' Up! Flowers For every Season Suite
  • Paper Pumpkin Box of Sunshine Unboxing video

Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set

Today, I'm using the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and the Drybrush Background Stamp along with Cinnamon Cider In Color to create this bold, striking card set.  Ink, sentiment labels and accent layers are all Early Espresso.  The lovely Cinnamon Cider coordinating ribbon adds just the right touch.  Then, I spotted a Copper Foil die cut from the Christmas Layers Dies sitting on my desk and decide it was a perfect compliment to the Cinnamon Cider color used on this card.  You'll love that this stamp set coordinates with the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set as it is part of the Flowers For Every Season Suite.

The basecard for this card is Cinnamon Cider.  Then a layer of Early Espresso, and then an image layer of Very Vanilla.   The sentiment labels are also Early Espresso.

I stamped the Very Vanilla layer with the Drybrush Background Stamp using Cinnamon Cider ink at full strength.  I tried it stamped off once and it didn't give the kind of coverage I wanted.   The sentiments are stamped in Versamark ink, covered with White Stampin' Emboss Powder, and set with a Heat Tool.  This set includes several sentiments in pleasing script.   Although its hard to see in the photograph, there is a striking Copper Foil die cut created from one of the Christmas Layers Dies.  The coordinating Sunflowers Dies includes several smaller leaf elements, but I loved the size of the Christmas Layers Dies die cut against the bold, stamped background.

The ribbon is the 1/4" Cinnamon Cider Ribbon, which is a soft ribbon that ties easily.  The Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle is a charming set and I can't wait to play with it more.

I love the big, bold images and coordinating dies with this set.  It creates such winsome images.    You'll love creating lovely cards and projects with this set, and proud to send someone special the cards you made using this lovely suite.
