Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Posies Project Kit
When the new, Stampin' Up! annual catalog was released in June, I knew immediately that I would order several of the Gorgeous Posies Project kits from the catalog. They are a great idea right now when traveling and vising family. You can work together on the putting the cards together, and then everyone get to mail cards to someone they haven't been able to see in a while. It uses the Gorgeous Posies Stamp Set, or any other stamp set sentiments, plus you'll need the following inks: Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride, Gorgeous Grape, and Highland Heather Stamp Pads. You'll want to add some Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensional, a scissors, and Stamping Seal or Glue. This kit makes 16 Cards in 4 different designs. I'm showing only one of the cards and the the card kit box in today's post.

The basecard for this card is Blushing Bride provided in the kit, along with the pre-printed layer in shades of Blushing Bride, Blackberry Bliss and Gorgeous Grapes flowers, Shaded Spruce leaves and gold accents.
The die cut circle, which is provided in the kit, is stamped with a sentiment from the Gorgeous Posies Stamp Set. I used a mix of sentiments from the Georges Posies Stamp Set and the sentiments from the Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set. The ie cut flowers and leaves that accent the sentiment are also from the kit. The kit includes color, written instructions showing ink pad colors for sentiments and final layout for each card.

The Gorgeous Posies Project Kit is just one of the many kinds of kits offered by Stampin' Up! Kits are a great value while you are in the process of building your crafting tools and have limited supplies. Or I've found kits to be a great way to take my crafting with me when I travel or just going to the park for a change of scenery. When I take a kit to craft with me when I travel, I know I have everything I need in a travel-size format!
