Another Stampin' Up! Curvy Christmas Stamp Set Card

  • Stampin' Up! Curvy Christmas Stamp Set & coordinating dies
  • Pre-release Stamping Up! Quite Curvy Variety Bundle
  • Customers can begin placing order for Quite Curvy 3 November 2020
I'm so happy the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle was release early -- its a preview product bundle from the upcoming 2021 January - May Mini catalog.  Why am I so happy?  I love working with all Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper.  However, when I work with 6" X 6" Designer Series Papers, it is difficult to get more than one card front from a 6" X 6" sheet of Designer Series Paper -- until now!  Using the dies from the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle, I can use just a 3" piece of Designer Series Paper and get two card fronts!  This new pre-release set is fast becoming my favorite, and you'll continue to see me use it not only during the holidays, but through the Winter and into Spring as well!.  I used just one sheet of one of the foil prints from the Feels Like Frost 6" X 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper two make two cards.

Silver Foil Christmas Card using Curvy Christmas Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

The basecard for this card is Rich Razzleberry.  Then a layer of Whisper White.  Then a layer of Feels Like Frost 6" X 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) die cut using the Curvy Dies. I used the layer of Whisper White under the Feels Like Frost DSP where I stamped the images.

I used three of the stamps form the Curvy Christmas set to stamp images on the Whisper White portion of the card front.  The images are stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink.   I did some "bend" the leaves images to get them to follow the  curve of the paper.  This is possible and a feature when using a photopolymer stamp set.

I stamped the bow and fussy cut it, and then colored it with Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends.  I added a couple of Dimensionals to pop it up before adding it to the card front.  To add even more bling to the card front, I added several Silver Metallic Pearls to the leaves on the card front.

Curvy Celebrations for Christmas Cards using the new Quite Curvy Bundle

  • Stampin' Up! Curvy Christmas Stamp Set
  • Stamping Up! Quite Curvy Variety Bundle
  • Customers orders for Quite Curvy begins 3 November 2020
With the Holiday's right around the corner, its time to look over your craft stash to make sure you have the seasonal stamps and products you'll need for creating your special messages to those you love.  Beginning tomorrow, you can order the new Curvy Celebrations collection -- two different stamp sets, dies, and designer series papers.   This collection is a preview bundle from the upcoming 2021 January - May mini catalog, which means it includes stamps, sentiments, dies and paper that will work for holidays now as well as sentiments that will work into Valentines Day, birthdays and Spring Celebrations.  I'm using the Curvy Christmas Set with the Curvy Dies and Metallic Mesh Ribbon.  I chose a sparkly Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper and a Metallic Mesh Ribbon, which is beautiful in person but oh, so difficult to photograph.

Balm Blue Glimmer Paper Chirstmas Card using Curvy Christmas Stamp Set

The basecard for this card is Pool Party.  Then a layer of Shaded Spruce, and then a layer of Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper die cut using the Curvy Dies. I added a layer of whisper White under the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper where I stamped the images.

I used two of the stamps form the Curvy Christmas set to stamp images on the Whisper White portion of the card front.  The images are stamped in Shaded Spruce ink.   This is a photopolymer stamp set, which means you can "bend" the stamp set to follow the curves of your paper. It took a little practice to get the positioning of the stamp sets correct so that it followed the curves in the paper.

To add even more bling to the card front, I created a triple bow from the Metallic Mesh Ribbon, and hung a Glitter Star Ornament from the center of the ribbon.  See a close-up of the bow above.  I'm going to try to take more photos of this tomorrow in natural light to see if its possible to get a better photo to show off this lovely bow.
