One way you can use your Designer Series Papers is to fussy cut images from the paper an add colors to compliment your card design. I paired flowers from the True Love Designer Series Paper with images from the A Touch of Ink Stamp Set. You'll probably recognize the stamp set I'm using today from the recent January-February 2021 Sale-A-Bration promotion. This stamp set was one of the free selection during that promotion. I know many of you just recently received your A Touch of Ink stamp set earned during the promotion, so I wanted to highlight ways to use it with current items from the January-June 20201 Mini Catalog. I fussy cut the flowers from the True Love Designer Series Paper and used blends to color the florals, the butterfly, and the hummingbird. I added die cuts, and embossed one of the sentiments from the A Touch of Ink Stamp Set, and added a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
I fussy cut flowers from one of the True Love Designer Series Papers, and colored them using Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends and Just Jade Stampin' Blends. I wove the flowers over and under the Bermuda Bay boarder. I used another label from the Potted Succulents Dies to create a label for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark, covered it with White Stampin' Emboss Powder, and set it using the Heat Tool.
I stamped the butterfly and the humming bird in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, then colored them lightly using Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends. I fussy cut the images, and mounted them on Dimensionals. Then I added a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
I love how these card turned out. We have so many wonderful tools to use to create beautiful cards that show people we're thinking of them, and that we've taken the time to make something they'll love. Order items to make these projects from my Stampin' Up! shopping site 24 X 7.
