Another new item in the upcoming Annual Catalog is the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack.  What is Memories & More Card Packs?  These are cards meant for our Memories & More Scrapbookers.  They fit our Memories & More Photo Pocket Pages, which are 6" X 8" and our Memories and More Albums.  See more on page 127 of the new annual catalog.  However, cardmakers will love these card packs, too.  The Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack has cards that can easily be turned into fast, easy yet beautiful greeting cards.  Stampin' Up! offers basecards and envelopes that help you easily create greeting cards from these Memories and More Cards.

In fact, I quickly made three greeting cards using the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack, and I have plenty more cards to continuing using for additional cards.  You'll love pairing these cards with other items in the Hand-Penned Suite, which I've been showing in earlier blog posts.  Customers can begin ordering from the new Stampin' Up! The flower images were preprinted on this Hand-Penned Memories & More card.  I added a Pale Papaya layer and a Fresh Freesia basecard.  Then I selected a sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp set, and stamped it in Highland Heather.  I added three pearls from the Pastel Pearls accessory pack to complete the card.  The coordinating envelope is from the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards and Envelopes on page 127 of the new Annual Catalog.

For this card, I simply fussy cut this printed shape, that already included the sentiment, and the floral images from one of the cards, and added Dimensionals before placing it on one of the basecards from the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards and Envelopes on page 127 of the new Annual Catalog.   I used  the Light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends to color three of the silver pearls to match the card.  







In addition to 50 total cards in the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack, there are also 4 sticker sheets.  Some of these stickers include sentiments, other are printed images ready to add to your cards.  Still others on these sticker sheets are printed in the Hand-Penned style, ready for your to color with Blends, Markers or Watercolor Pencils to coordinate with your card designs.  The main image I chose for this card was already printed and colored.  I added a bow, and one of the stickers from the sticker sheets.  Tip:  Since I wanted to pop this sentiment sticker up on Dimensionals, I brushed the back with powder so it was no longer sticky so I could add my Dimensionals. I used three of the silver pearls from the Pastel Pearls accessory pack to complete the card.  I mounted it on one of the basecards, and it fits perfectly into the coordinating envelope from the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards & Envelope pack. 155501 | $10.00 USD.  Add the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards and matching Basecards & Envelopes to your shopping list.   Then on 4 May 2021, when the new annual catalog launches, order it from my Stampin' Up! shopping site  24 X 7.

Stampin' Up! new Annual Catalog Sneak Peek with Color & Contour Stamp Set

Here's one more set that you'll love for making quick, simple cards using Blending Brushes.  I'm using another of the new In Colors today, called Polished Pink for my basecard and used Blending Brushes to add color to my image layer.  Then with just one of the stamps and one sentiment from the Stampin' Up! Color & Contour Stamp Set, I created  a simple, interesting main image layer that took only minutes to complete.  This Stamp Set includes many additional images and sentiments, but I love when I can create a simple card with nothing more than ink, paper, stamps, and a bit of bling.    The Color & Contour Bundle is a Stamp Set and a set of Dies called Coordinating Scalloped Contours.  It's from the upcoming Stampin' Up! The basecard for this cards is Polished Pink.  Then a layer of Basic Black.  Then the image layer is Basic White.

I used Blending Brushes and added shoft shades of Polished Pink and Soft succulent to part of my image layer before stamping.  These soft blending brushes are rubbed across your ink pad, then rubbed onto scratch paper until the desired shade is achieved.  Then rub the Blending Brush across the surface you wish to cover.  One you finish, clean your bushes by running them under water.  Each package includes 3 Blending Brushes:  Item 153611 | $12.00 USD.

After adding soft color to my Basic White layer, I stamped the flower images and sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Then I added a few of the Polished Pink In Color Gems to complete my simple card.
