I have a couple of cute Valentine cards to share with you today.  Both use the Sweet Conversations Stamp set and the coordinating Sweet Heart dies, and both are swap cards I received from a recent swap.  They are part of the Sweet Talk Suite on page 8-10 in the Stampin' Up! January-June 2022 Mini Catalog.  There are so many different looks you can create using the Sweet Heart Dies -  Tags, tiny envelopes, horizontal hearts, vertical hearts, and dies that die cut the hearts from the coordinating Designer Series Paper.  Depending on the papers you select, you can create traditional looking Valentines, or Valentines with non-traditional colors.   You'll love giving these Valentines to someone you love. The first card is from Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Robin Cushner, at Stampin up With Robin C.  The base card is Real Red Cardstock.  Then another layer of Real Red Cardstock popped up on Dimensionals.  then three different prints from the Sweet Talk 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper. 

Then  she used one of the sweetheart dies to create a small Real Red envelope, and used another die to die cut one of the hearts she stamped using the Sweet Conversations Stamp Set.  She decorated the heart with a small Pearl Basic Jewell and added a bow using the Real Red 3/8" Linen Ribbon that is also part of the Sweet Talk Suite.

The next card is from Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Denise Will.  She began with a base card of Petal Pink.  Then a layer of Basic White stamped with Petal Pink hearts from the Sweet Conversations Stamp Set.  Then a layer of Smoky Slate used as a matte to a piece of Petal Pink 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment pack.  

 

The coordinating Three hearts are die cut from the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper, with strings of White Baker's Twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack so they look like suspended balloons.  Very creative!  Then she used a die cut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to create a Basic White label for her sentiment.  The sentiment is stamped in Smoky Slate Ink.

Ever get emotional about a stamp set?  The moment I saw the Calming Camellia Stamp set as a Free Host gift in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, I knew I needed to add it to my permanent stamp collection.   No doubt, if you're like me, you have your current stamp sets that rotate through your craft room as long as they remain in the catalogs.  But then you have your shelves of wonderful stamp sets to which you've formed a special bond.  These long-time stamp sets help you create beautiful cards every single time you put ink to paper.  Calming Camellia will be one of those sets.  This is one of those sets that I know I'll use long after Sale-A-Bration 2022 has ended.  Today, I'm using it primarily with Fresh Freesia and Shaded Spruce.  I love the sentiments in this set.  I love the floral in this set. I love stamp sets that eliminate the guesswork in creating beautiful cards.  To finish today's cards, I added a piece of the new White 3/4" Frayed Ribbon and a few Coastal Cabana Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels pack. To create this card, I began with a basecard of Thick Basic White Cardstock.  Then a layer of Fresh Freesia, and then a layer of Basic White Cardstock. 

I stamped the floral image in Fresh Freesia ink at the top and bottom of the image layer.  Then I stamped the foliage from this set in Shaded Spruce three times.  I found I needed to be careful of the stems from the flowers and the foliate and I matted areas where I didn't want stems to show.  Most of them are covered by the ribbon.  

Then I added a piece of 3/4" White Frayed Ribbon across the area where the two floral images met.  I used the Layering Circles Dies to die cut a Basic White circle from my sentiment and a Fresh Freesia scalloped circle matte which I offset to one side of my sentiment.   The sentiment is stamped in Fresh Freesia Ink.  I tried stamping it in Shaded Spruce as well, and it was equally beautiful in either color.  In finished the card by adding three Coastal Cabana Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels pack.  To get the results you want when you stamp, adding the Calming  Camellia set to your collection is sound decision.
