Need a cute card for Valentine's Day or an upcoming Anniversary? You'll have a great time playing with the new Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set from the January - April 2023 Mini catalog. I used a color theme of Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron. The Designer Series Papers are from the Dandy Design 12 X 12" Designer Series Paper Pack, a Free Sale-A-Bration selection with a $100, less tax and shipping, order. This Designer Series Paper includes 48 sheet; not our normal 12 sheets, so its a great value as a Sale-A-Bration Selection. I used Blends Markers to color the gnomes and mushroom house. I have the dies from the Kindest Gnomes set, which carried over from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. And the Gnomes Dies, Item #159625, work with the the two Gnomes I used for my card from the Friendly Gnomes. I fussy cut the mushroom house and added it to my card. I used one of the dies in Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut a Stitched Basic White label for one of the sentiments from the Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia.
The basecard for today's card is Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used one of the prints from the Dandy Designer 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper to cover the entire Thick Basic White. Next another print from the same Designer Series Paper Pack under the image layer. The image layer is a strip of Basic White. It is matted in a layer of Pale Papaya.
I stamped in Back Memento Ink two of the gnomes from the Stampin' Up! Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set and the mushroom house. Then I used two of the dies from the Gnomes Dies to die cut the male and female gnomes. I fussy cut the mushroom house. I used Blends Markers to color the Gnomes and the Mushroom house. Blends used were Fresh Freesia, Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, Pale Papaya and Smoky Slate. I used a grass stamp from the Friendly Gnomes Stamp set to step grass to the right and left of the gnome characters in Mint Macaron
To finish my card I popped the die cut gnomes onto dimensionals and added them to my card. Then I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut a sentiment banner, and stamped one of the sentiments from the Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set in Fresh Freesia Ink. I added dimensionals and added the sentiment to the card. A special thanks to Amy Koenders from StampwithAmyK.com for inspiration for this card.

The February Sunshine and Smile Paper Pumpkin Kit coordinates with the Rain or Shine Suite Collection (item # 160556) from the January-April 2023 Min Catalog. You can use the stamps from the suite and the kit to create supportive, friendship-themed cards. Create darling, springtime cards using the suite's Rain or Shine specialty paper and the kit's darling precut paper critters.
