Lovely Daisies using Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set and Dies

I haven't played with the Fresh as a Daisies Suite as much as I wanted to. Part of the reason is the Daisies stamps in this set are non traditional.  However, the more I work with this set, the more comfortable I become with these non traditional daisies. So today, I pulled out the Cheerful Daisies Bundle from this suite and use the stamps, and dies and added die cuts from the Gorgeous Garden Dies.  Because I was thinking "non-traditional", I decided to cut apart the stems and leaves from the Gorgeous Garden Dies and use them as part of my layout rather than only using that die as a complete piece. This makes the purchase of this die much more useful than only using it as a full die cut. 

 My color theme is Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Sea Foam, Old Olive and Basic White.  I used a Basic White border created using Flowers Embossing Folder, one of the three embossing Folders included in the Basic 3D Embossing Folders bundler, an Online Exclusive.  I use one of the sentiments from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Sets and stamped it in Old Olive ink, and I added Daffodil Delight Dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment pack.     You'll have fun finding ways to use these non-traditional Daisies shapes in this Bundle on your cards.      

The basecard for this card is Thick Basic white Cardstock  Then a layer of Soft Sea Foam, and then my image layer is Basic White Cardstock.  I added a strip of Basic White dry embossed using the Flowers Embossing Folder from the Basic 3D Embossing Folders Bundle.  This embossing folder bundle is available as an Online Exclusive on the Stampin' Up! store.   

Next, I used the Cheerful Daisies Dies and Die cut three of the large daises in Basic White Cardstock.  This is part of the three daisies shapes.  I only used the largest daisy of the three.  I used a Blending Brush to color the Daisies with Daffodil Delight Ink.  I used a Small Blending Brush to color the Daisy centers using Pumpkin Pie Ink.  I used the small Daisies stamp from Cheerful Daisies to add additional Daffodil Delight Daises on the card.  I colored the center with Pumpkin Pie Blends. I also added stems from the Cheerful Daisies Dies in Soft Sea Foam Cardstock and in Old Olive Cardstock, and Basic White leaves from the Cheerful Daisies Dies.  The I cut apart Soft Seafoam and Old Olive Die cuts created from the Gorgeous Garden dies, and added more leaves to the layout.  

 
   

To  complete my card, I die cut a sentiment label using the Cheerful daisies Dies, and used a sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp.  I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink.    I mounted the sentiment on Dimensionals before adding it to my layout.  I finished by adding a few Daffodil Delight Glossy dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment.
