Sunny greeting card created using Stampin' Up! Sending Smiles Stamp Set

Today I'm using a stamp set I haven't used in a while.  It creates such bright, sunny greeting cards that it makes me smile every time I see it...which is appropriated since it is the Stampin' Up! Sending Smiles Stamp Set.  My color combination today is Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Basic White and a touch of Crumb Cake.  I dry embossed a background layer using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, I heat embossed the sentiment "Sending" with White Embossing Powder set with my Heat Tool, and stamped my image in Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.  There is a die in the Sending dies that die cuts the Sending sentiment, and another die that die cuts the sentiments labels for the different sentiments included with the Sending Smiles Stamp Set.  I added a few Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots for a little bling on my card.  This is the kind of card that's fast and easy to make and one you'll be proud to send someone you love.

  

The basecard for today's card is Night of Navy Daffodil Delight Cardstock Cardstock.  Then, I used the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder to dry emboss another layer of Daffodil Delight Cardstock.  My image layer is Basic White Cardstock matted with Granny Apple Green Cardstock.    

Then, I stamped my sunflower image using the Sending Smiles Stamp Set  The stem and leaves are stamped in Granny Apple Green.  The flower head is stamped in Daffodil Delight.  I stamped the flower center in Crumb Cake in stamped off once.  

I stamped my sentiment in two parts.  On Daffodil Delight Cardstock, I stamped the word "Sending" in Versamark ink, covered it with White Embossing Powder, and set the embossing powder using my Heat Tool.  Then I used one of the sentiment label dies from the Sending Dies, and die cut a lebl from Basic White Cardstock.  I stamped one of the smaller sentiments in Daffodil Delight onto the sentiment label, mounted it on Mini Dimensionals and added it to my card.  To finish the card I added a few Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment.
