Birthday card idea using Artistically Inked Stamp Set and Dies and Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper

One of my all-time favorite set of dies is the Artistic Dies.  Today I'm pairing the Artistic Dies and Artistically Inked Stamp Set with the Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper to create this gorgeous Birthday card.  My card today uses a color theme of Gold Foil, Basic White, Bubble Bath and Berry Burst.  I used the Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper, which is a new Online Exclusive item introduced earlier this month.  I used a Bubble Bath Cardstock basecard, and then layered two different prints from the Delightful Floral designer Series Paper between mattes of Gold Foil.  The water colored Berry Burst print is the back side of the large floral print I used on the card--both from from Delightful Florals Designer Series Paper.  Then I used the open floral die from the Artistic Dies to create an overlay of a Gold Foil so the beautiful colors from the Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper showed through the open gold die cut.  I found a die from the Charismas Classics Dies that I used to create a Basic White sentiment label for the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set.  I stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst Ink, and added a gold accessory to the edge of the label to complete my card.   The Translucent Florals Stamp Set and Dies and the Delightful Florals Designer Series Paper can be found on the Stampin' Up! The basecard for this card is Bubble Bath  Cardstock.  Then I used a Berry Burst watercolor print from the Delightful Florals 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper Matted with a layer of Gold Sheet.  I used a floral print from the Delightful Floral 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper  as the focal point, and also matted it with Gold Foil Sheets 

Next, I created a Gold Foil Sheet floral die cut using the Artistic Dies.  I backed it with Adhesive sheet before I die cut it as I tend to get glue all over delicate Gold Foil die cuts.  This way, I simply peel off the backing on my die cut and stick it on my card.         

  

To finish my cards, I die cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using a die from the Christmas Classics Die set, and stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set using Berry Burst ink.   I added a strip of Gold Foil accent to the back side of the sentiment label before mounting it on Dimensionals and adding it to my card.  Then I added a gold accessory to the edge of the sentiment label.
