While I still had the Christmas Classic Bundle, part of the Joy of Christmas Suite,  sitting on my work surface, I decide to make another card with this set. I used a color theme of Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, Silver Foil Sheets, and Basic White.   I used the Christmas Classic Die to die cut a a Silver Foil element as a key decorative element for my card.  I also wanted the card to have a softer, frostier overall look and I used a layer of Vellum Cardstock on top of the Lost Lagoon layer.  I use the Dots & Spots Die to create dots in the Vellum Cardstock to show more of the Lost Lagoon layer.  To make the Basic White sentiment layer stand out, I used one of the stitched Square dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut a Pretty Peacock matte for my sentiment.  I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Classics Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink, and added a Clear Frosted Gem from the Frosted Gem Trio Pack.   I couldn't find my Silver and White 1/2" Sheer Ribbon in my stash, so I grabbed a Silver Metallic Edge Cotton Ribbon from my retired ribbon stash so I could finish this post, and will swap out this ribbon as soon as I find the Silver Sheer Ribbon. Sigh... The Joy of Christmas Suite has so many elements that coordinate to create beautiful cards, you'll want to order this for your holiday card making soon.  Also, many of the out-of-stock Designer Series Papers and Specialty Paper are back in Stock.  Check out the listing below to see all of the back-in-stock papers.   

  

The basecard for this card is Pretty Peacock Cardstock.  Then I added a layer of Silver Foil Sheet, a layer of Lost Lagoon, and I topped the Lost Lagoon Layer with a layer of Vellum Cardstock die cut with the Dots & Spots die.  I want the Lost Lagoon layer to appear frosty and the vellum created just the effect I wanted.    

Next, I used one of the Christmas Classics Dies to die cut a Silver Foil element to use under my sentiment layer to give the card an elegant Christmas feel.   Since glue and Glue Dots show through vellum, I first assembled the Silver Foil element and sentiment layer, then attached it to the vellum layer so I could hide the Multipurpose Glue and the Glue Dots. I assembled the Silver Foil Layer and the Lost Lagoon layer, and then added the vellum and sentiment layer.  That way, i could hide my ribbon tails before i added my Pretty Peacock basecard.   

To finish my card, I used I added a Clear Faceted Gem to the sentiment layer from the Faceted Gem Trio Pack.  then I added a bow with Silver Metallic Edging from my Retired Ribbon Stash.  If you're casing this card, I recommend using the current Silver & White 1/2" Sheer Ribbon, which I was unable to find in my stash.
