"Take flight" with "high-flying" puns or "wing it" with play on words with the Stampin' Up! Adventurous Sky Stamp Set and Dies from the Take To The Sky Suite Collection.   Winged wordplay sentiments are perfectly paired with images from the Adventurous Sky Stamp Set from this Suite.  Or fly straight with standard sentiments; its your choice with this set.  Vintage airplanes, clouds, maps, and metal trinkets will lift your Father's Day cards, birthday cards, and more to new heights.  Create your own adventurous scenes with papers or stamps from this set, or pair it with other scenic Designer Series Papers like the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper.   Today's card uses a Misty Moonlight tree and sky print from Thoughtful Journey 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper, along with sketched Plane images from the Adventurous Sky Stamp Set. The center of the image was die cut using Stitched Rectangles Misty Moonlight layer, and then the Sky and Tree scene was added.  The plates were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Misty Moonlight and Smoky Slate Blends.  The larger plane is popped up on Dimensionals. Misty Moonlight Pearl accents from the Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio Set were added as accents.   Sentiments were stamped using Misty Moonlight Ink on stitched circle die cuts using the Stylish Shapes Dies.  

The basecard for today's card is Misty Moonlight Cardstock. Then a layer of one of the scenes from the Thoughtful Journey 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper.   Before gluing the Designer Series Paper into place, use the Take Your Pick Tool with the Hobby Blade Crafter Tip to cut the center from the Designer Series Paper Scene creating a 2-13/16" X 4-1/8" layer.   Then, create a Misty Moonlight matte layer using one of the rectangles from the retired Stitched Rectangle Dies or 4-3/8" X 3". Glue the center scene cut-out layer to the Misty Moonlight matte, and glue the remaining layers into place.

Using the two smaller biplane stamps from the Adventurous Sky Stamp Set, Stamp them on Basic white Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Color them with Light Misty Moonlight, and Light Smoky Slate alcohol-based Blends and use the Adventurous Sky Dies to Die Cut the two planes.    Add Dimentionals to the larger of the two planes and add them to your card front.  

To finish the card, use sentiments from the Adventurous Sky Stamp Set, and stamped them on Basic White Cardstock using Misty Moonlight Ink.  Die cut the Basic White Cardstock using one of the circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies.   Add Misty Moonlight Pearl accents from the Adhesive Backed Pearl Trio pack to complete this card.
