Nostalgic biplane Reverse Fold Greeting Card + Glass Mats returns during Stamp Set & Die Bundle Sale

Nostalgic biplanes, sky blue clouds, and a Reverse Panel Fun Fold creates a charming world for creating masculine birthday or Father's Day cards.   Aviation images from the Adventurous Sky Stamp Set and Dies from the Take To The Sky Suite Collection let someone special know you're thinking of them.  This card is another Reverse Panel Fold Card like this card created yesterday, but with a different orientation.  The color theme for today's card is Basic Gray, Night of Navy and Basic White.  Two prints from the Take to The Sky Designer Series Paper adds to the aerodynamic motion you feel from this Suite.  This card is designed with an inside panel for additional images and sentiments.  Silver antiqued Industrial Trinkets embellishments are added as accents.   Thanks to fellow Demonstrator Meg Loven from LovenStamps.com for the inspiration for this card.

The basecard for today's card is 8-12"" X 5-1/2" Basic Gray Cardstock, scored at 2-1/8" and 4-1/4" on the long side.  Then, the 2-1/4" piece is folded back.  A 3" X 5-1/4 print from the Take To The Sky 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper is glued to the 2-1/8" font panel with the right side left loose.

 

Then create the reverse fold element. Cut a panel of Night of Navy Cardstock 6-1/2" X 4-1/4", scored at 3-1/4" along the long side.  Cut a sentiment panel of Basic White cut slightly larger than 4" X 3" for the inside of the reverse fold element.  Stamp the largest cloud image in Basic Gray onto the panel, and adhere the stamped Basic White panel to the Night of Navy panel as pictured below.  Center the Night of Navy Panel onto the back Basic Gray Basecard ensuring that the left panel closes over the front.

Next, decorate the front of the Night of Navy Reverse Fold Cardstock Panel.  Select a map print from the Take to The Sky 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper, and cut a piece slightly larger than 4" X 3" to adhere to the Night of Navy Cardstock.  Stamp the largest cloud on Basic White Cardstock with Basic Gray Ink, and die cut it with the largest cloud die from Adventurous Dies.  Adhere to the map print.  Stamp the biplane image in Basic Gray on Basic Gray Cardstock.   Die Cut the airplane using the Adventurous Dies.   Add dimensionals to the airplane image, and add to the front panel. 

To finish the card, select one of the sentiments from the Adventurous Sky Stamp Set.  Use a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, stamp the sentiment using Basic Gray Ink.  Trim the sentiment if necessary, then create a tail on one end.  Add Dimensionals to the back, and adhere it to your card.    Finally, add Glue Dots to the back of the Industrial Trinkets and add to three corners of your card.
