Take a closer look at another card using the Nest of Winter Suite Collection produced during the recent Stampin' Up! Creativity Now virtual event for demonstrators. Today's card uses the Nests of Winter Suite, which will be available in the September - December 2024 Mini catalog. Demonstrators preordered this suite to create cards during the event so we have samples to show customers when the new catalogs arrive. This card uses a color theme of Misty Moonlight, Gray Granite, Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Crushed Curry. Using the pine cone frame die from the Winterly Tree Tops Dies, cut a Gray Granite boarder for your Misty Moonlight basecard. Stamp the bird and branch image from the Winterly Tree Tops Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock, and color it using watercolor Pencils Assortment 2. The bird is colored with Crush Curry with Cajun Craze wings and beak. The branch is colored with Night of Navy and Balmy Blue. The berries are Cherry Cobbler. The sentiment is stamped on a strip of Smoky Slate using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. The bird, branch, border and sentiment are all mounted on Dimensionals before adding the to the basecard.
The Nests of Winter Suite Collection will be available to Demonstrators in August during the Demonstrator preorder, and to customers in September when the September-December Mini Catalog is released.
The basecard for this card is Misty Moonlight Cardstock. Then a layer of Gray Granite is Die Cut using the pine cone border die from the Winterly Tree Tops Dies; part of the Winterly Tree Tops Bundle.
The birds from the Winterly Tree Tops Stamp Set and Dies Bundle were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and then die cut using the dies from this bundle. The birds were colored with Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze Watercolor Pencils from Assortment #2. The branch is colored with Night of Navy and Balmy Blue Watercolor Pencil, also from Assortment #2. The berries are colored with a Cherry Cobbler Watercolor Pencil from this same assortment.
